This is abandonware. It's only still up for someone else to come and pick up (if they even need to). You shouldn't use this in any game today unless you have backdated versions of PD + Gigas from 2022.

Yeah, as Koi said... "won't crash" =/= "optimized".

There are numerous minor areas where Gigas and PD don't "break" each other, but they just look right past each other and grant you either multiple/redundant options for the same thing, or in some cases visual bugs that don't "break" your game but are really annoying.

Might do you well to read through the long, long list of features above and consider that those aren't necessarily provided by MOR before lecturing others on wishing for an update on a mod with significant QOL features.

It's not that this mod added compatibility between Planetary Diversity and Gigastructures, but rather that it added interaction/crossover between them (as well as some minor fixes)

It's perfectly reasonable for people to wish for it to be updated, or for a fork to be made.

Yearly reminder that this mod is not needed and will break your entire game, giga has in-built compatibility for planetary diversity, and has had that for years

Stop asking for updates, and stop using a mod that's literally breaking your game and then complain about it breaking your game

This mod might require a quick update, as UI Overhaul had made an update and its collectively broken the compatibility between Giga, UI, its compatibility patches and possibly broken this.

GadgBeer, the mod is a year out of date meaning it is clearly abandoned, was never necessary to begin with (it just made the mods cross over with eachother more), and actively causes issues with all 3 mods when enabled especially gigas

To the extent that it causes consistent crashes or breaks origins in a way that result in your empire being destroyed on game start.

Why are you defending people asking for updates on broken, dead, unnecessary mods. You got a problem? Fork the mod, or go away.

It does not need a complete revamp and its not that its "not good enough". Its that the mod has not been updated since 3.5 and the base game and the mods this mod patches have all been substantially modified since then. Do not use this mod until it is brought up to the current baseline of the game.

This mod needs a complete revamp, it's good don't get me wrong but not good enough.

I will second Bread's comment. DO NOT USE THIS MOD. For one thing, it will overwrite and ruin parts of Planetary Diversity. This is apparently well known in various modding communities, I did not.

NOTE: DO NOT USE THIS MOD. Or if you choose to know that if you bring any issues to me on the gigas discord I will say some quite rude things about it. This mod really wasn't necessary in the first place as both gigas and PD are fairly different scopes and don't touch a lot of the same things. Any few things that would have fallen between the cracks before are fixed in the upcoming update. So if you're still using this mod and come to me with an issue because of it, I will be very unhappy to say the least.

To the guy saying this mod worked before 3.7, it absolutely did not work with 3.6 and it will continue to not work with 3.7 until it us updated. I agree with the other comment though, this mod is not required to run the two mentioned mods, this just enhances their synergy. For raw compatibility use the Merger of Rules mod.

@Tom Dude Gigastructures and PD don't have any compatibility issues, this mod only seems to make them synergize better. Otherwise, it appears to be completely optional and not required if you're using both mods.

I can't say for sure, but I believe it does, yes. If I am right there will be a planetary decision for it. I know the option exists for the other planetary habitats.

This patch is for Gullis Technologies, not Gullis Modifiers. So this patch you mention addresses something completely different.

In addition, Giga Diversity not only fixes bugs, it complements and brings together features that each mod has and create synergies. This goes further than a compatibility patch.
