Yeah, as Koi said... "won't crash" =/= "optimized".
There are numerous minor areas where Gigas and PD don't "break" each other, but they just look right past each other and grant you either multiple/redundant options for the same thing, or in some cases visual bugs that don't "break" your game but are really annoying.
Might do you well to read through the long, long list of features above and consider that those aren't necessarily provided by MOR before lecturing others on wishing for an update on a mod with significant QOL features.
It's not that this mod added compatibility between Planetary Diversity and Gigastructures, but rather that it added interaction/crossover between them (as well as some minor fixes)
It's perfectly reasonable for people to wish for it to be updated, or for a fork to be made.
Stop asking for updates, and stop using a mod that's literally breaking your game and then complain about it breaking your game
