welp nvm it unfixed itself? idk just deleting the Leader_Classes folder fixed it, you dont need that btw. base stellaris itself handles the Leader_Classes function and Pony stuff never had it from 3.8 and below

Ye. i did that myself infact lel. used notepad++ with both the base and PS version open and just lined up everything and constantly swapped between untill i saw the slight diffrence. left me scratching my head for a couple minutes as i went past it thrice

hey so uh i know this is abit late. but iv been digging through my archived pony stuff 3.14 files trying to figure out why scientists werent being hired (since i tried the a full playthrough completely vanilla of the newest stellaris version upto the first out of 4 end game crises... it ran like ass btw) and i found why. there was a typo (Within the PS_Leader_Classes.txt) in the inline script section that allowed them to assign scientists to ships and other things was misspelled. MODIFIER was spelt MODIIFER. so yeah fun fact for what was causing you that issue all this time back then

Yeah, the intent in the old days was for a MP focused mod where everyone was running the civics for the most part. I think there were also other modded civics that had a very similar aesthetic to them that ran alongside and Aurora matched the strength of these to those. It's why I'm always open to feedback. I want to change the Starlight's away from its current setup to a more "mass leaders with their own traits that provide countrywide jobs" set up, to give it a unique identity, but I haven't been able to sit down to do it. If you hover over the influence resource, you can see a scaling modifier with its own unique flair for the civic.

Played a lot with the mod, but there're some troubles I couldn't mention.

Aren't the civics given are way too imbalanced? I mean, they only give buffs, quite a lot of them. Wouldn't it be more reasonable to make them less, add debuffs and, maybe, some prerequisites as most of the civics have?

Really liked the idea with star bases unique module, though.

Released some mostly minor bug fixes, this should make storm kings, changelings, and kirins more functional. Kirins have not regained starting pop on planet as it seems this modifier was removed.

I mean, you can go into the mod and delete everything but name_lists, species_classes and species_names in common as well as deleting events. That should work.

Guys, I am trying to get an understanding of 4.0 and will likely be releasing an update for it sometime soon.

I feel that this is one of those situations where going with original thoughts is best, sorry. EO's government and origin also seem well outside the power scale that was originally envisioned. And I do think some of the vision needs to be balanced. Some are better than others.

No Problem, just did a small test run and yep. The AI still refuses to hire new Leader's or use them in various positions.

Very aware of EO, also very aware prior author and EO's author were not on talking terms :(
I may have some processing power over the next couple of weeks to start making some changes as I got the expansions on sale.

damn for some weird reason this Mod f's with the AI logic on how to use Scientists on Sciene Ships.

Don't know if the other leader types are affected too but once i deactivate this mod all works fine again.

This original came out before Gigastructures. I did try a pass earlier to try to work with larger than citadel stations but it didn't work out well.

I'm aware of that, True Wolves, but I lack the artistic talent to do that.
