I have played the 3v3 versions of both the original and the aftermath (albeit playing 2v2 on a 3v3) both play fine with a little drop in performance even with a lot of units compared to playing on 2v2 on the 2v2 map version

Ahh that's good to hear! Honestly it's designed for a 2v2 matchup but I had a few requests for a 3v3 version. I think the performance difference might be chalked up to more units on the field compared to the smaller version.

Have you tried the other version of the map? Your performance might be worse because there are many more action markers but it plays slightly differently in terms of flow.

Oh mate I'm not sure how much the Spearhead mod impacts performance! There aren't too many markers, mostly fog, but there are a lot of grasses and foliage that may be lowering frames, unfortunately.
