hmm, its not showing or i cant find it in each console, but when i was playing the errormagnifier popup pointed to something happening between this mod & true music when I was right clicking/device optioning (one or the other) the true music jukebox. Didn't crash my game, but i'm not sure what happened there. Should this mod come before or after true music?

Hasn't this been added to vanilla B42 now? I haven't had a chance to play it a lot but I think the mod might be obsolete at this point

Haven't tested it yet, but seems the issues everyone is having is caused by Mileage Expansion. Might be worth listing as an incompatibility.

Hi all, just to let you know I didn't forget about the mod despite the lack of updates, but I probably won't work on it until B42 lands since it's looking like a big change in terms of UI and many other mechanics.

Could you please make it configurble so we can just turn on/off radio by clicking on your radio button, instead of open radion panel?

I'm running into the same error as everyone else with the radio icon being displaced to the left of the dashboard - I've tried what's been suggested in moving it to the bottom of the load order, but this hasn't worked - anyone else got a fix or anything? Or is the mod creator able to have a look at this? It seems a lot of people are having the issue.

For anyone curious, a possible fix for the icon being misplaced.

I've just been making sure this mod loads last, and it fixes the icon displacement issue.

Running into this error turning a radio off/on as a passenger. Nothing breaks majorly, I just find seeing a red box come up annoying lol.

After a few weeks of using the mod I've also had teh issue of the car radio icon being offset. Is there a fix?

It would be nice to have a cassette player and CD player.

I am not sure why would having another person in the vehicle affect the driver's radio element tbh. I will make a note in the description for now so people are aware of the issue, dunno how soon will I be able to look into it though. Thanks for the reports!

Can anybody else confirm with me.. I believe this mod works in multiplayer, but as soon as you get you and another person in the vehicle, clicking the radio doesn't work.. instead you have to go through the wheel menu to access.

As far as I've seen, Zomboid mods don't update automatically for some reason. Any updates require an unsub and resub to get the new files.

Glad to hear it. I am not sure why is it necessary but I've read other mods having similar issues so it's not just a problem with this mod, hopefully the devs improve mod syncs soon.

@dobby, the last update did add true music support but it seems there are some refresh issues when updating mods. Can you try re-subscribing and seeing if that fixes it?

And I have one more comment. If true music is supported or will be supported, is it possible to set the default value of the panel that appears when clicking the radio icon to open the cassette window of True Music instead of the vanilla radio? Of course, there are users who do not use True Music, so the mod option (mod) allows the user to select whether the default window that works when the icon is clicked is vanilla radio or cassette.

That's weird. I didn't make any changes to button positions and it seems fine on my end. Can you try unsubscribing from the mod, waiting a few minutes or even loading the game, and then resubscribing? I'll try to see what's wrong in the meantime.

I looked into True Music, it's a shame cassette player uses a separate UI even though it's part of the same device (if you increase the volume on one, it gets raised on the other too, for example).
I didn't want to have 2 buttons for such a similar function on the dashboard since it's a bit cramped already and reorganizing vanilla buttons is tricky so I decided to make right-mouse-button click open the cassette player if TrueMusic is installed. I will push the update shortly.

Would love to see True Music support added yeah. It's always a pain opening the cassette player from the menu and then having to grab a tape from the glovebox, then having to use the radial menu again to turn it off or change the volume
