The temporary solution has been found! It doesnt do evreything this mod does via auto patching. But its close. Maybe we can change that.

The key search term in me finding this mod was: feet

I know this works in 1.6, but it doesn't affect Vacsuits at all (likely because they used the word "suit" and not "armour")

As a long standing enjoyer of this mod. I also am looking forward to 1.6 support.

I've updated a local copy to 1.5 and changed it to work for all clothing and not only armor. Are you planning on updating your version OP? If not I can upload a continued version.

Anyone have the issue where this mod doesn't add protection of hands and feet to vanilla recon armor?

I found out that theres a compatibility issue with VE apparel shoes and gloves because it technically takes up those slots but other than that this mod is amazing

Thank you for this. I am no modder, but using your mod I was able to tweak it and make clothing also cover hands and feet. SHOES and GLOVES shouldn't be such a novel thing on the rim. Anyway, I appreciate you making this possible.

@hottt3 There's a kinda shitty missing element to vanilla armors. They don't cover hands and feet. So you can have a pawn covered head to toe (figuratively) in the best armor in the game, and they'll get their hands and feet shot off in a snap because the game doesn't count the armor for them.

This fixes that.

@hottt3 the description is fine; if you can't understand it you're probably too new a player to be using mechanics based mods. I recommend playing more vanilla first as rimworld has a lot of little specific things that take time to get used to

This mod gives an incompatibility warning when loaded with CE, though after short testing this seems to be a non-issue.

What is we have mods adding "armour", spelt how it is supposed to be of coarse. I know the current use it "Armor" buts some folks stil use the correct version of armour. Was curious if you could allow it to check that too, or would it simply increase the check time too much?

i've tried this mod with the rimsenal packs and it doesn't seem to add the hands and feet. i've tried changing the defs to contain the "armor" word either in description and for some reason all the "modular" armors and all the power armors added by rimsenal won't change.

Check out OwlChemist's Cherry Picker mod if you want to just remove a handful of items from another mod, Jelly Creeper.

On a separate note is there a mod that removes vanilla expanded hands/feet armour/apparel?
