@author - I understand. Thank you! I have subscribed to Automation Aides mod, and will learn how to use it.

I think I have encountered a small problem with growing trays mod? Not sure if it is your mod, or is it another mod that is trigger? I really have no clue of any of it. But, what happens is, if I go to my farm... and open up one of those growing trays (in this case it grows reefpods), then close it down... suddenly the game will lag more, and more. Until it stops responding at all. I tried not looking at the trays, and all worked just fine. The growing trays also takes out TrkXP (from Star Trek mod) and Experience Orb (RPGGrowth), so idk if this is the issue or not? Could you please help whenever you have the time to do so?

@Chet Walters Glad you like it! The crop's produce goes into the fertilizer slot because that's the second slot. I have it set up that way to allow shift-clicking seeds then fertilizer into it, instead of shift-clicking them into the output slots

The Automation Aides mod can be used to automatically transport items

I'd rather leave skins to other people, so they can make addons for this mod. They can do so by copying the object and recipe files, then adding their own sprites

This is brilliant. The feedback I have is that if you do not have any fertilizer in the fertilizer slot, it will start spawning fruit there. It would be nice if the tray could be wired, so once that fruit is grown, it can automatically be transported to a storage or fridge. If possible, could maybe just make some nice techy design, with a nice glass box and black/orange metal? Kind of like Titancorp Addon's Hydroponic Tray variants. Or Knightfall type of design, or even Shellguard versions. Same stuff, just different skins - and the player could simply create whichever they like in their station? Just a suggestion, and small request! Great stuff, really. I am re-building my farm to utilise this tool of yours.

Does the plants still grow when I'm not there like a normal plant would? Or do I have to be near the planterbox for it to work?

The mod doesn't seem to like MFM's plants that have a "intermediary" plant (e.g. vanilla and other forms of "beans"), producing "bean sprouts," but that's probably a limitation of the system.
Otherwise, everything works just fine, yeah.

@ProfileName it should! It works with 99% of modded plants. I know there's one modded plant that spawns a monster instead of producing items- the growing trays won't work with that one

@Alithsko I could make it consume seeds that spawn but I probably won't do that. I did recently change my developer version of the mod to reduce how fast trays grow crops, and I think it will go live soon

This mod is good, but it can easily become unbalanced due to interacting with mods in unexpected ways, most of the time it's related to spawning excessive amounts of seeds that happen to sell for tons of pixels, I'm not sure if anyone could fix that, but just be careful combining this with other mods, or just make sure to blacklist yourself using certain seeds with growing trays

@MokahTGS it's intentional- that's the second slot so shift-clicking sends fertilizer there. you can put any item in the fertilizer slot, even non-fertilizer items, and the algae will go into a different slot

So the trays seem to be outputting into the fertilizer slot instead of into the open spots to the right. Is that intentional or is that a bug. It keeps me from auto filling fertilizer into that slot. This also makes it impossible to grow algae as it is consumed as soon as it's grown.

@Silver: I mean, i guess it is what it is. Idk if youre gonna make another update anytime soon but I dont want to make you feel like you have to make one just cause someone has an issue.

Cause technically, it still works but not as intended.

Im encountering some sort of bug. Since the update, no matter what seed i put and no matter what tier it is or how many seeds i put, the output is always one.

Before the update, all seeds from the current mods i have worked properly

One more thing, when growing Soybeans while using CN More Farming: Revitalization, they only give bean sprouts, rather than the (infinitely more usable) soybeans. Not sure if there's a fix for this... I assume it's because they have a two stage growing process with different harvestables.

It looks like watering isn't required? Kinda hoped it would be, as I do enjoy the act of tending to crops. Excellent mod for compact spaces, nonetheless.

@Hyperdino they do! I considered making plants like that but decided against it. There's the Equivalent Exchange for Starbound mod-- you can sacrifice similar items for points that you can use to create other items, like sacrificing some potatoes to make a carrot

Wait, farm animals count as monsters? Idk shit about starbound code. Like maybe it could work by turning the animal into a seed of sorts but at that point why not just fuckin make like. Scorched core plant or smthn.

Had a new idea, is it possible to make something like this but for animals? Like, you'd have to put the egg where the seed slot was, but in turn you would get the animal's drops? It'd be like, a simulacrum
