I actually made an update for 1.4 a while back, but never thought to drop a link here at the time. Mod has been updated to 1.5 now too. Here is a link if needed:

Yes, It works with the few custom fabrics I have installed.

@Die40 & HyperSapien: Neither this, not other apparel recycling mods do this, I assume because of code limitations

@The Gaming Archaeologist: In the details tab it shows "clean" and "tainted" flags, both switch on by default.

@Storm - It works at least for vanilla materials, I dunno about any new materials added with 1.4

Finally, some questions of my own:

Since smelting has been nerfed down to 25% return from 50%, has the base value for this mod been ajducted accordingly? Also, as fabric can be reclaimed on any of the vanilla production areas (crafting spot, wooden machine table, electric machine table) is there a difference in the results for each?

For example, less rewards, for more effort on the lower tech options?

1.4 note, it errors with mechanoid crafters. Fix:

I remember someone saying this is a OP mod, but with all the different materials I have from so many mods I often get both rare but also common/cheap materials.

You're right, the smelt ratio might've changed since the original mod was from 0.16

Doesn't the smeltable ratio yield 25% though and not 50%? I remember smelting giving just a pittance back to what it costed to make it. Perhaps they changed it but the description never got updated?
