@Kinsect yeah, they're not really necessary if you use this mod, although this one doesn't include any new icons mind you so you do need to pay attention to descriptions more with this one

I take it we don't need Redone Ship Encounters, Redone Ship Encounters Extra Dungeons Icons, and Improved Ship Encounter Descriptions anymore if we have this ^^;;

@BITney, The Pixel Heister You know what actually, I think I know what issue Ancient Cosmos is causing here, its star system is tier 7 you see, and since the game has no difficulty name set for anything above tier 6 in the cockpit, you get that issue with the cockpit UI. Try using this mod , as it should resolve your issue

I tried without Detailed and still occurs xD i think its all Ancient cosmos

@BITney, The Pixel Heister Hmmm, well we can rule out my mod having any issues with More NPC Ships, the character kickstarter, or the FTL mod, maybe Project Ancient Cosmos is the problem? I don't see how new star systems would cause any issues though.

The error occurs once you have every mission done, go to a black hole system from ancient cosmos and click on any of the ship encounters OR anomalies.

P.D.: I have 2 more installed but there just one for achieve endgame with an item an the other for going faster from system to system.

@BITney, The Pixel Heister Hmm, honestly I don't see how any of the mods that effect the cockpit UI would cause any problems here, so I'm finding myself a bit stumped as to where this issue is actually originating from.

@BITney, The Pixel Heister Huh, that's very odd, does seem to be something relating to font colors here, which is very unusual, but I'll try and see if I can replicate this issue, seems like it may have something to do with Anom's Redone Ship Encounters mod after all?

When I click on a ship on the navigation screen as soon as I create the character I can see the ship's information, but when I advance with the missions and click again, the navigation screen freezes and I get this error, it seems it just happens with the ones from More NPC Ships and some from Elithian

@BITney, The Pixel Heister This mod will likely overwrite many of the names and descriptions, but the icons and horizons will still work.

@Nephirus90 this mod only touches ship descriptions, the new icons and horizons Redone Ship Encounters adds in should remain unaffected, but many of its descriptions are likely to be overwritten by my mod.

Hello, anyone with this and Redone Ship Encounter knows/tested if having both cause problems and/or if you get the backgrounds/horizons of Redone Ship Encounters for the encounters covered by that mod?

@FortheHorde17 sounds like there's some mod replacing friendly npcs with red cell critters, maybe try using Agent Ransack [www.mythicsoft.com] on your mods file? You're going to be wanting to search for the cellcritter.

yes thats what i meant, on all friendly ships there are no friendlies, only the little red cells rolling around

@FortheHorde17 oh, you mean that you're not finding any friendly npcs where they're supposed to spawn?

i meant that we have npcs everywhere throughout the starbound universes and on all ships except ones that are supposed to be friendly but thank you for the help

@FortheHorde17 dunno about the red cell creatures, but it's possible you might just be having some poor rng in regards to the hostile ships, or the mods your using are drowing out friendly ships with hostile ones so to speak.

like there are hostile ship npcs and not friendly ones

do you know what mod adds those little red cell creatures to outpost and other places. im trying to find which mod adds those and which mod is making it where i have no npcs on only ships

Yeah, I'm playing right now, and I can say for certain that there isn't a bunch of ships now stuck on the map that I can't select. Since the ships would accumulate even when you weren't in the game. Which is the most bizarre factor about the issue itself.

Ya know, at this point I wonder if the random ships that kept infinitely spawning and never despawning was because of the old patch mod you made before this.
