I got a bit tired of having to maintain my bandaid patch for Anom's Redone Ship Encounters mod whenever a space encounter gets added by a mod so I decided to make a much simpler version of it without custom background and icons, just descriptions that should inform you what ship your looking at. I've color coded friendly ships as green and hostile ships as red in their descriptions too so players can easily tell what's hostile and what's not at a glance.

Supported mods:

Feel free to suggest any mods I might have missed, I have no plans on supporting United System Expansion however due to it being "decommissioned" or something.

@Kinsect not completely, you'll notice that Anom still recommends for people to use my mod for the time being as supplemental to his mod

@Kinsect yeah, they're not really necessary if you use this mod, although this one doesn't include any new icons mind you so you do need to pay attention to descriptions more with this one

I take it we don't need Redone Ship Encounters, Redone Ship Encounters Extra Dungeons Icons, and Improved Ship Encounter Descriptions anymore if we have this ^^;;

@BITney, The Pixel Heister You know what actually, I think I know what issue Ancient Cosmos is causing here, its star system is tier 7 you see, and since the game has no difficulty name set for anything above tier 6 in the cockpit, you get that issue with the cockpit UI. Try using this mod , as it should resolve your issue

I tried without Detailed and still occurs xD i think its all Ancient cosmos
