for whatever reason mine wont go over 28 knots in high speed mode and not in highspeed mode it goes 26-27 knots help please... other than that i have every boat in the series so far and theyre all great.

Fine verdict after 4 pids and hours of fine tuning, 152 knots on hydrofoils, no engine modifications or adjustments besides water inlets, did some weight reduction but only what was necessary (love the look of the ship)
Ybot to answer your question about 12 hours of adjusting hydrofoils and fins and setpoints and variables, i figured with 8 engines and it already having water jets it would be perfect for hydroplanes if i could make it work. 152!!!!! i cant believe it!

how do did you get to 85 knots?

We have liftoff!!! 85 knots! minor porpoising isue but i can fix that with a PID i think. Honestly never thought i would get the bow out of the water.

45kn and the stern is up enough the coolant intakes are out of the water.

Currently in the process of making this a hydrofoil, got the bow up so heres hoping! 36kn with just the nose up and no modifications to engines or pumps besides lowing the intakes. Which now that i think about it i failed to do for the coolant......

not sure why rhib speed is 1 or 2 knots while infinite fuel is on. must be something to do with how the controller reads the mix. im not smart enough in that area to fix. so i guess the fix for now is infinite fuel out to the scene, then when using rhib just toggle infinite off until its back on board.

@Razgriz Well, I'm kinda on the fence about that. The turrets on my boats were indeed originally intended for weapons once the Weapons DLC was released. If you think about it, the concept of a turret that looks and feels like a weapons turret but shoots water is actually quite silly. With that in mind, I was going to refit and add weapons to all my SAR boats but quite a number of people were against having weapons, so I decided to leave them as they are.

I have started working on some dedicated gunboats, but to be honest, I simply don't have the time to work on them as I'll be traveling abroad most of the time this year. Another setback is that I want my turrets to have trajectory correction, auto target tracking and leading, stabilization, and auto reloading, and although I was able to find some good MCs on the workshop and implement some of the features, the guns aren't working as I intended, since my logic skills are VERY limited.

So it's a matter of time I guess. We'll see.

Are you going to refit models like this with at least defensive weaponry? Would be useful needing to do rescues and traverse hostile seas.

Firstly, I am still alive!

Secondly, a belated Happy New Year to everyone, best wishes to you and your families, and thank you all for your love and support <3.

Now for the bad news...

It's true that I haven't been active lately and I guess I owe you all an explanation as to why.

I recently started a new career (not in-game but IRL) and got a new job. Although I am working from home (as I've always been), unfortunately, the workload is absolutely crazy and taking up almost all my waking hours. It's pretty much a continuous work-eat-sleep routine everyday and I simply don't have the time to play any games, or for that matter, do anything else.... yet.

I'm still in the process of getting used to the work schedule and in the coming months, I should be able to shift around my working hours to have more flexibility and downtime.
