I just wanted to say thank you for such a great mod, easily my favourite and pinnacle HL experience since HL Alyx, Black Mesa and playthroughs of all previous official HL games / expansions / episodes.. awesome work folks, much thanks.

For one, Crowbar Collective themselves have stated that they have plans to make blue shift a "one-click" mod, instead of the current convoluted installation process
And two, you're having a UI crash (known) - try running the game through oldUI

Almost finished Focal Point. You guys have outdone yourself. When the project is complete please release it as a more than just a mod. Having it as a DLC optional download and an updated launcher to launch Blue Shift or standard would be amazing.

I fear a quality project like this might get overlooked by many if everyone had to go through the mod process.

PS I am getting an error where sometimes I crash upon saving, error message states that the texture res might be too high. I have 32gig of ram and a 7800XT 16gb GPU. I doubt it is a hardware issue.

The devs of this game are so pretentious. They cant make a real game and release it.

my game run normal until I pause and it freezes on loading, I've tried to launch in old ui, and desable steam overlay but nothing working to me.

My specs:
Intel Core i5-13420H
16 GB DDR5
RTX 3050

You need to be on the latest build of Black Mesa steam version.

This is a great mod. If BMS is not enough for you you can play this. It's more or less 6 hrs of immersive play! I think I've replayed 3 times in between with the vanilla BMS

do not download this mod its unstablized and doesnt run on the lastest grapthics card or an 3050 TI

Peak mod, if possible should be incorporated into the base game in some way

Runs awful on Linux. Crashes after about 10 minutes of gameplay. Probably worse on Steam Deck.

I love this mod to death, but HOLY SHIT MY FRAMERATE, every single level constantly fluctuates from 60 to 10 fps on even a high-end PC

Bit of a minor issue, but the font for the Greek subtitles is broken (it doesn't include toned vowel characters: ά, έ, ί, ή, ό, ύ, ώ). It seems to be some kinda fallback font.

Just beat the entire campaign thus far on hard. The first 75% of this mod is fun, immersive, builds on what Black Mesa did well. The last 25%, specifically the majority of the Xen portions, are a slog to get through. Level design is just janky, waypoints are often unclear, ammo management is bad, puzzles and combat are repetitive, and the narrative becomes borderline ridiculous. It feel less like a HL remake and more of a Doom clone. Hoping the devs can dial back the jank on the Xen portions because otherwise it's a fun mod.
