- that said, I was able to defeat all of them at once, it's fairly difficult but doable
4. I will look into adding a bit more supply depots as well as shortening focuses. Were there any in particular you felt were too long for their benefits? (besides navy and air stuff because everyone knows those are never worth it for any tag really)
In case you are still looking to play the Ottomans in the future I'd like to respond to your critiques (apologies for taking so long to respond here, I haven't been checking the workshop much)
1. the Ottomans are supposed to be poor, they are not supposed to have much industry at the start. The people they fight are even worse off. This should get fixed by re-balancing though, see 3 below.
2. If you have any sources for steel or aluminum inside Ottoman lands that are missing in game, please let me know. I don't want to add completely implausible resources; their steel production can already get higher than it really should via their industrial focuses
This seems to be an isolated incident. After some looking around, I have seen others noting this same problem several times over the past week in Kaiserreich. Kaiserdevs apparently said to try a clean reinstall of hoi4, which should fix it. From what I have seen this isn't guaranteed to work, but it is something to try.
My best guess is that paradox probably screwed something up with the launcher again.
No, I have no idea why this happens. I just tested it myself and it does not crash for me. It's possible that the mod got corrupted while uploading to steam though. I will have someone else who isn't the owner test this out and see if the crash happens for the. I'll get back to you on this.
It certainly makes sense. I think I will rectify the navy issue by giving Denmark more destroyers and subs. They already start with a large amount of heavy cruisers, and probably don't have the motivation to build carriers or battleships. Might give them a couple of outdated German dreadnoughts as war reparations though, we'll see.
Look for that in the next update.
Rather it is military might that should be expanded upon. Denmark, prior to 1864 (which obviously didn't happen here) was very militaristic. The navy in particular needs work.
It has always been the pride of Denmark-Norway, and was a critical part of the defence. It both defended local waters and blockading enemy ports.
So a united Denmark-Norwat that hasn't lost its will to fight should at least match the german navy.
I didn't, but I do now. spent like 10 mins getting some base stuff set up. Link is here:

Sorry for never responding last time you asked, I assumed the IDK meant you weren't really that interested (clearly I was wrong). If you want to do some loc I would be more than happy to let you do some, since a lot of the mod is missing it. In regards to the files themselves- do you want to have me send them to you or do so another way? Also, is there a specific country you want to do (ones in rework obviously shouldn't be done).
I would DM but I want to leave this in the comments in case this is useful to anyone else.
You seem to be more educated on this than me though- are there any changes you'd specifically like to see?
Also sorry for the late reply, I have not checked this page in a while because May was rather busy for me with graduation and whatnot.
PS. For anyone wondering: I'm working on Germany, Austria, and Italy right now, they are taking a while though because Germany is a main player, Austria is not in a good place and that region needs lots of testing for balance, and Italy is... questionable at best and needs to be completely redone politically.
Perhaps the national spirit is a bit misleading. The intent with Underdeveloped Norway is not meant to suggest that Denmark is neglecting Norway, just that Denmark proper is more developed and that the government is heavily investing in Norway at the moment.
Essentially my thoughts were that Norway is seen by the government as having much more opportunities for future development by the government (which as you said is correct).
Also hopefully the union doesn't come off as oppressive (lack of flavor probably hurts here)- the intent is that it the Danes and Norwegians are both happy being in a union, just with a bit or Norwegian resistance. The Germans are the real issue, hence why there's no way to remove that debuff without ceding S-H.
My main gripe is the national spirit: Underdevoleped Norway.
While I know that norwegian industry was historically neglected under Sweden-Norway, the danish-norwegian dynamic was very different. Norway had vast timber, hydropower potential, and some mineral wealth, all things that both Denmark and Sleschwig-Holstein lack. In return Denmark and Holstein had the food production to support a growing industry.
Historically, all the things Norway had, Sweden had even more of, hence the neglect. But in a surviving Denmark-Norway, both the danes would have to be idiots to not expand norwegian industry in the 19th and early 20th century.
This is not disparagement (I very much like your mod :)), but is meant as constructive criticism.
