You can add commands to your autoexec to achieve that, I don't remember which tho, there are probably topics on steam forums with them listed.

I added “cl_ragdoll_bloodpool_chance 100” in the autoexec.cig and nothing happens, bloodpools still only form a handful of times

It is not mandatory but it proviede 100% chance for blood pool. I uploaded best config below. It make all sence for this mod. It works this way. NPC when killed turn into ragdoll. Ragdol itself does not produce blood pools. SO when it happends that after kill you hit ragdoll it produce blood pool. With this mod and config it is 100% that it will be so. Otherwise it is randomlly.

I recommend adding this line to your autoexec.cfg, so there's always a 100% chance for a bloodpool to appear:

cl_ragdoll_bloodpool_chance "100"

It works this way. When you kill NPC with one shot not a burst and ragdoll of killed npc won't be hit during shootout/falling onto ground, there will be no pool until you shoot it. NPC after beeing killed are changed to ragdols so it is enough to shoot it while falling onto the gorund or in any other time after.

For bullet shells, this would cause quite a bit of lag once the amount of shells on the ground starts to build up. While the blood pools are just a decal, the shells are models themselves and despite their size can have a higher file size than that of the blood pools, so I don't believe this could be done reliably

@MoiCestTOM it depends if after kill of npc you hit ragdol then. If not there will be no blood pool. Check it by shooting already dead npc without blood pool. There will be like 100% chance for blood pool after shoting only once ragdol/deadnpc.

These stayed much longer in BMS 2012 than in actual versions.
Also there are no bullet wounds at different (non-human characters).
Blood pools will also not form when characters get gibbed (was different too in BMS 2012)

Please do the bullet shells! That would be awesome! After firing the M2 Browning and having like 100 shells thrown across the floor would make the expierence 100X better

Fantastiic mod. I am also surprised why effect like this aren't in game by default (or as an option at lest). Permanent shred would be soo cool too. About shells. I'm about to repack all weapons. Which parameters need to be edited to make it permanent?

I wish It would be an easy upload, but unfortunately I would need to upload a whole weapon pack for permanent shells to work. I don't know which weapons do people like the most. Maybe I will upload a Juniez weapons pack?

By all means please do a bullet shells, there is not allot of games that have permanent bullet shells lying around permanent.

I've set the blood pool chance to 100 and it's still not very consistent. You should upload the persistent particles mod as well, sounds awesome. Any way you can make ragdolls collide with the props?
