I can't find neither blank book nor lectern, searched for "book" and "blank" at emptyhand crafting and searched for lecterns at inventor's table, do I have to find those in game to craft them?

it's okay! you can't place a book, but you can place a lectern and put the book on the lectern

I apologize for not articulating it well - what I meant is having a given book, as a placeable object in game, which other players can pick up and read and pass to others.

I'm guessing if you read your written book, it adds to the Codex? If I remove the mod, will the Codex entry also be removed?
