You can create new options related to campaign difficulty and you can limit the range to player only, ai only or enabled for both. So you don't need any script to achieve that.
This is why those kind of mods will work only in campaign mode.

Would it be easy to do this just for naval movement ranges for the player? Chasing down ships at sea can be really annoying, but I dont personally want land movement cheats.

Agent speed doesn't change. Tested with cylostria in mortal empires. As far as I know agent speed is hardcoded and can't be changed, which is why this mod caught my attention.

Unfortunately it's all messed up since the update. Playing as Grom my units are all starting with what I can only describe as random amounts of movement speed. It's quite bizarre. Seemed to be working fine before.

There's certainly something weird going in the background. Switching to forced march for example doesnt give any extra movement at mid game and followers/heroes/trait movement buffs dont seem to add movement too.

Is there a limit to how much movement range bonus can be granted or increased to?

Because I tried to just make it +1,000% to give agents and lords all 10 times their movement ranged, and the game crashed just as it finished loading.
