Can we do something about the shipsets in this mod, they just seem to take up space and they're just vanilla shipsets just renamed.

@Axtasium: It's not a bug, just a feature that I put into some of the faction civics for aesthetic purposes a few years back. I thought I blocked that old event, but I guess not. I'll change it in the next update.

@force728: That would be the robot species. I change the portrait to one i want, and it auto changes them to the imperial droids. Not sure how it works but I was playing the Galactic Empire origin with a modded portrait set to be specific.

@Tchaikovksy_Bright: After researching the Inquisitor tech, there are four buildings that can build them. You can use either the Emperor's Citadel on Byss, the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, Fortress Vader on Mustafar, or the Fortress Inquisitorius on Nur (Mustafar system). You also need either the galactic emperor or imperial military civic.

Deleting faction_governments.txt from this mod fixes it, thats as close as im probably gonna get to identifying the issue. If you see this and have any idea why this would affect anything or if this is safe to delete and wont affect anything, lmk.

I found an oddly specific conflict and im not sure where the issue lies. Very specifically if im using this mod, Tasty Maid: Portraits, Tasty Maid: Events, and a mod that increases trait selections and points, it breaks the Maid Outliner if species_trait_points goes above 6. Removing this mod fixes it and having the species_trait_points below 7 with this mod also fixes it. zero idea whats going on but thought id ask here if anyone has a clue where it could be coming from.

How do I link the shipsets from Superior General Delvardus's mods to your prescripted empires? I see that the graphical cultures is trying to pull from a different shipset name, but even if I change that I either get a CTD on startup or nothing changes. What am I missing?

It's not really that they tried to. They did, and they do look good now, but it was such a minor thing that nobody asked for that had such a huge impact on so many mods because of it. Not just making them not work as good (like when they added eco worlds) but flat out killed them. At least when they added Eco worlds, the older city sets could still be used, they just had issues if you made an ecu world with one.

That's because Paradox tried to size up and increase quality of the vanilla cityscapes but screwed up every mod's city file's placement in the process. Meaning if your mod adds cityscapes you have to now resize your mod's city image placement or values. :1

Paradox try not to break their fan's mods challenge (impossible).

Just a heads up that while the skies are updated fine, the actual environment backgrounds (as in the terrain and such you'd see in planet view) are still not sized up properly for several of the planets.

@Local 58: Nope, I would like for it to be mobile, but its just a habitat station in-game.

For those looking for an update, I'm working on upscaling and redoing some of the city sets and planet backgrounds right now (and for the other mods) and updating has been taking longer than usual (irl). However, I should be done soon.

I've noticed this a while ago too, but even after researching the Dark Troopers, I don't see the option to build them anywhere. Are there any prerequisites I might be missing before I can make them?

@JimmyRustles: This update might take some time since they up-scaled the planet environments and city-sets, so I have redo some of them and I haven't had much time to do anything yet, but it shouldn't take too long.

@Kovu11 only the placement on the map is random, the systems aren’t. You need to select the system you want. If the systems aren’t appearing in your list of available systems then you have a mod conflict that is preventing them from showing.

@force728 okay if the placement is meant to be random then it works as it should. I only thought that this mod lets you start in Lehon system, not random system renamed to Lehon.

I see that some galactic paragon council positions have been added to some civics from this mod. Will you finish the rest and add positions to jedi/sith order civics, dark council, galatic sentate etc?

@force728 There's a mod that does it already if you want to use that to work off of. And it could be a separate origin. "Galactic Empire- Start as the Empire with a large navy and empire."

And add a version that changes nothing except it requires Nemesis to work. Both sides get it, and can be happy.

@Kovu11: Not sure I understand what you're talking about. The starting systems work on my end and you should know that this mod is not a total conversion, it just adds the portraits and system starts to the base game. The placement is intended to be random like the rest.

@Jedipony1: You mean becoming the emperor from the Nemesis dlc? I guess I could, but I'm not sure how to implement that at the start of the game. Also, some players might not have the dlc, so I probably wouldn't want to integrate that into the galactic empire origin.

Starting systems doesn work, in empire creator there is still only one option "random". No idea how to select starting system. Also Revans Empire spawns in South of Galaxy core, instead of west where Lehon is actually located.

the ones I was playing with were the sith portraits and playing as imperial. the heir sowed a male portrait but said it was female , and then the one of the ministers , I believe it was the defense minister suddenly changed to the portrait I was using as my emperor.

@metalsinger: Which portraits specifically did you notice? Are all of them acting this way?

@Kaptajn (i got tech armor): They are in the leader pool, but the sith portraits only show up based on whether the leader has either the psionic or sith leader trait.

I'm having an issue with portraits changing during the game AND male portraits saying female and visa versa it never used to do this. not sure what is causing this. It only happens with the species portraits from this mod.

Anyone else have an issue where portraits seem to be very limited? Both for the resurgent Sith and Krayt there seem to be no Sith portraits spawning in the leaderpool

Whenever I start a new run as any empire, I am severely underdeveloped in terms of exactly 100 pops, no buildings, no ships, and a single leader outside of my ruler.

ok, basically if taking Jedi Order civic, no pops can take the jobs because they need the psionic trait, tried all sauces, that's the thing, the game looks at jedi jobs as psi corps, i tried creating a shoulder teachers republic and pops did take jobs as jedi, but it doesnt really make sense to me, even the Force Sensitive trait will not enable pops to be jedi, only psionic

It seems all my portraits change to robots in the beginning of the game and all my imperial portraits disappear

Do to the nature of the 4.0 update, some mods are going to take a while to get updated. Such mods include anything that affects planets, buildings, districts, populations, and system initializes. The more of those that are affected, the more work that needs to be done to update.
