As far as I can tell there doesn't need to be any updated compatibility patches between the two mods as there doesn't seem to be any conflicting files anymore.

@FatRefrigerator sup sorry for not responding. Didnt check up on this mod sice GAI is abandoned. PD overwrites districts files (the files that AI use for districts building) so doas GAI. This patch just makes it so that GAI district Ai works with PD :)

Well you both did good work, but I maybe got the usernames mixed up.
Still happy to plug my dismay of the base game AI :p

At least you won't have to update much/any more given that Glavius is stopping. I hope the devs do actually integrate his fixes since you know, you can bend the base game AI to your will with a single unit of food since they can't comprehend starvation.

@Trace Projectile thank you very much but im just a simple patcher from a simple vilige with a simple dream of purging all xenos. Seriously tho i believe that your words are aimed at glavius since my patch aint fixing any bugs and im pretty sure that im not known at reddit :lunar2019piginablanket: either way ye vanilla AI is f up.

@rainy67 will see where the conflict between those two are (if any) if it will be something simple i will consider making patch for it.

I just want to say well done Misha for the frequency at which you update. You're actually known (i.e. on Reddit) for how quickly you fix bugs and update to new game versions.

I honestly don't know what's up with the base game AI. They spam the same few awful buildings across every single planet then cut corners to try to look competent.

@oy Velsnuk sorry for the long wait for answer. This patch doasn´t do anything with system spawns so there is no way it woud affect where planets spawn :)

Just general annoucment. I will update after 2.3 comes out (patch is still working it just has old-ish GAI weights)

Sorry if asked before but does this mod work with NSC? Whenever I play, Red Dwarfs often have planets around them.

@Jackwagon by trouble i mean that those files will get overwriten by any mod that alters the same files and is above this one No locking is happening in paradox engine unfortunately.
Ye DD will cause trouble or this patch will cause trouble to DD depends which is higher in the load order .Tho im pretty sure that there is PD GAI DD patch somewhere :prism:

I thought it just locks those files such that no other mod can make any adjustments. Just trying to figure out what you mean by "trouble".

Also, I'm then assuming that this mod doesn't work well with "District Diversity"?

@Micha: Yeah..for me it is also not the performance which is "quite" OK until late-game but with mods and on huge galaxy with many empires I see the RAM always climbing up towards 3GB RAM. This is the limit I have seen where the game simply crashes because it cannot adress more memory space as a 32Bit application. Unfortunately Glavius is increasing the Empire development strongly leading to an earlier point of time when that crash happens. Without Glavius the empires grow more slowly and I can reach the endgame with 24 Empires on 1000star and 0.75% habitable as far as I have tested. Also PD is increasing the empire growth extremely probably because the AI has more planets to colonize with terraforming and technologies - that goes up extremely between 2300-2400 as far as I can tell..even 0.5% habitable does not do much then. But anyway I found a good mod setup without Glavius and if that becomes boring I can choose smaller Galaxy-sizes.

@JLBOCK ye the performance is bad and its heartbreaking to see a 3 cores beeing idle while one doing all the legwork tho for me the performance is not that big of a deal.... i just grab a book or listen to podcast or something when entering the late game. What kills the game for me atm is the AI... its no fun when at the mid/lategame evryone is pathetic to a degree that if the whole galaxy declared war on me they woud not stand a chance which is a real shame but im still hopefull that they adress it in the future

@Micha: Thank you very much for your answers. I had to give up heavy modding the game because I got too many conflicts but main reason is that Stellaris works until end-game only with Vanilla-type growth of empires. All game-play altering mods I tested led to increased growth and I reach the RAM-limit before the endgame-start. Too bad if you want a good modded game you have to play with few empires on small maps :(

@JLBOCK it goes throu every mod and overwrites the same files. It goes from bottom up (no merging which is a shame for such a heavy moddable game). I dont know the entire spiel behind the load order within paradox engine but generally speaking the stellaris mod launcher is nice way to see which mod will have priority. The ones on top will shit on those under it.... kinda like in real life :D

@Micha: Or a general second question: Does Stellaris stop when it has read a specific file-change (so that is top-bottom) or does Stellaris go through every mod according load-order and overwrites the changes from the previous mods according load-order (bottom-up)?

@Micha: I have a general question to load-order. Glavius has a "~"-sign in front of it. All patches available have a "!" or more of them to be loaded after Glavius. Is the "~" -sign treated different that it loads before all other mods with alphanumerical or special characters like it is to be supposed looking at the load-order from Stellaris-mod-list of the launcher?

@Spreadwheat you dont need it (since we do the same thing as far as MEM is concern) and we actually overwrite each other so only one woud work anyways (the one that is above the other one in your mod window in your launcher) tho it shoud be noted that the incompatibility is only in specific MEM end game crisis habitats :P so ya know... nothing major :lunar2019piginablanket:
