It's a pretty old design, but it still works well if you don't need a survival kit.

This ship was designed before Uranium and Platinum were removed from planets. They also didn't have small grid survival kits back then.

only issue is need platinum to build the ion thrusters so not exactly simple

I use this one regularly, now! It flies like a bloated warthog, but it gets the job done and has everything needed for an atmo/space runabout.
