@bastard I didn't mess around much with that program, if at all (I can't remember now), and all the dev files for this mod were lost when I changed to a new HD a couple years ago.

Hey man! I'm trying to use the program tiled, the editor used to make dungeons and stuff. Can we get in contact? I want to know if you have any of your assets set up for tiled? As in if you've got a tileset folder and stuff maybe set up from past development? It would save me a lot of time, thank you.

is there a way to force one tile to take priority over another? I'm trying to make a wall with pipes in it but every time I do the pipes render under any other wall or sloped wall I put down, leading to the slopes of the pipes being covered up

I've tried both the standalone mod, and FU to see if I can get the pipes to render over everything else, but no luck

Not working well with Frackin anymore.
Some tiles when hovered over cause the client to crash.

@Wally, yeah. That's an issue with the way water interacts with the grid in the world. This mod changes the appearance of the square blocks that fill the grid that makes up the world and doesn't touch the actual underlying grid, so you'd need to overhaul either water mechanics or the grid itself to be able to have a nice angled edge being possible. :(

I really love the stuff this mod adds. Kudos and thanks for building it!

I've put together a small fix that makes the girders paintable. Maybe it can be of use to someone else.

@mastermind176 IIRC the one towards the middle of the image is an engine block. I'm pretty sure it was from another mod, though I can't remember which one exactly (It has been a long time).

heyo, I'm making a rundown bunker with some broken pipes and was wondering if there was a air booster like thing that i could use to make it look like steam coming out of the pipes. :)

@00FF00.json Thank you for bringing it up, but yeah he has permission. Way back when I first made this mod and posted it on the Chucklefish forums I gave permission for everyone and anyone to use it in their mods, I forgot to mention that on the steam page before though.

i've noticed that the cables (not sure if this occurs with any other block) seem to allow light through, at least when placed in the background?
not a huge issue, but it does make some parts of my base look brighter than the others. is this a bug or a feature?

@Labal I'm not sure if I'm reading your question correctly, but do you mean the way I have the background pipes in the second and fifth images?

The reason those pipes are not going behind the other background tiles is because the wall material I was using (can't remember which mod it was from) is set to a lower rendering layer. If you look closely at those two screenshots you can see the blue and white hull panelling blocks are overlapping the pipes (since they're on a higher rendering layer), while the blank white wall panels are behind the pipes (which is why they can be placed on both sides of the pipes without issue).

What is your trick for the diagonal pipes to look... normal? Sloped blocks of other types cover them up at intersection, while non-sloped blocks create gaps. Do I have to use visually identical but non-interacting sloped blocks on different sides of each pipe?

It's been a while since I looked at my notes (not even sure where they are atm) but I'm fairly certain I set the priority to that level intentionally. I was trying to make the sloped pipes match up with the vanilla pipes as much as possible so they could be used right next to each other without looking odd. I probably won't be changing them any time soon, sorry.

I'm obsessed with this mod, it's the best! The only issue I've encountered is that the pipe priority is super low so when it's used as a background all the other blocks sit in front of it and cover it up in a very unflattering way. Any chance you could raise it's priority so it sits on top of most blocks?

@Yanazake As far as I know, most of it has been added. I don't know if they've modified vanilla girders or added a second type alongside them, like the way this mod does.
