I didnt work on both the Poseidon and atlas in a long time. I may do a update but at that point I concider them both to be a tad obsolete.

maybe i am doing something wrong but the atlas just wont go to the altitude i want, it just stays on the floor

If you are talking about the Poseidon, its something I added on the fly for the purpose of the demo. Its not on the original ship.

I tested it. I think a glitch in force calculation limit its power, that or my own computer is not strong enought. Because at 50% of its power I can already lift about 38 000 units. So it should lift +-80000.

But if 1 unit= 1kg and 1 force= 1kn, then it should lift 100000kg, or 100 tons

how to calculate max lifting mass?

no , it dind't whene i subcribed to this , but i think i know from where it come ...
i had this bug before (on a other ship ), and i just replaced the seat...
the seat sometimes get bug out after a hotfix or a update ...

but now i fixed it and it work !! :)

It doesn't crash for me. But I recall a bug that I had on the poseidon that was making that. Something to do with mirroring hinge. I will have it fixed on the Firefighting update. Just give me a hours for that and please tell me if it work for you.

You are the second one to have this problem... Did it work for you before the last update? I played with it just yesterday

darn, my pc is so slow that if i have sound on, the audio starts crackling and spazzing, then lags my pc more

When I lifted the 40 000 unit test weight it didn't lag at all. The sound of all engine slowly powering up is really rewarding.

not that much lag... (well, my usuall 5 frames a second...)

Wow, that's a bug I never had. But again, many complained about extreme lag when going back to creative island, never had that... Until last patch that supposingly fixed it!

I don't know what to tell you. I did had few crash in the past, but only when I sent something back to workshop using the option in map mode. I do not think that was specific to any ship/plane in particular.

Outside of that, there is nothing special logic wise that could crash the game. Unless if you tried to lift something really heavy, but even there. I made sure control were slow enough for the game to cope with it...
