This has the whole mod plus the elithian races block id fix, and won't change the ship initially. But can it still be used to build the ships? How can I trigger the change?
my character is felin and I have installed a patch to enable custom races to use this mod
You can try this I guess. I don't remember the finer points of if it would remove other metamaterial or just from doors.

That's a problem that occurs more as you have more mods that add planet types. Is a mathemical problem. I explain it more fully (and aleviate the problem mostly) with my Faster Start mod - https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1403152404
Make sure you read the full FU mod description before you ask any more stupid questions. :)
If you installed Frackin' Universe, I know for a fact that it adds a ton of stuff to the universe, including new planets, biomes, and stars. FU is a huge mod and it's not one to install on a whim and then later decide to remove. You will absolutely ♥♥♥♥ yourself if you decide to do that. The endless flight sometimes happens with FU installed. There's nothing we can do about it other than keep telling you to just wait however long it takes for the game to find your world. If you have an old universe before installing FU, that time may be increased considerably. There's a reason we recommend using a brand new universe for FU. We don't just make this ♥♥♥♥ up for fun. :)
