kelpy kelp
What is not - Server side mod.
Works fine in Single Player, and players connecting your universe with the mod installed.
I have not been able to get the mod to work on dedicated servers as it drops Perfectly Generic Item instead of saplings. Interesting enough; You can farm kelp saplings in Single Player and a Server still loads the saplings fine in your inventory.
I'd like think that mods are little cartridge or chips that you plug in into the big console that is starbound and the ds cartridge seemed cool and brings me nostalgia.
I really love that idea XD
(it was 9/10 before)
starbound is a DS game? WHY DIDNT ANYONE TELL ME XD
thats a problem for me other than that great mod
2.- I wasn't aware of that mod but could be great to make a patch after I finish with my next mod to add both mods into the seed crafter.
Thanks for your comments.
1: The mod says "seedling", but the description says "saplings". Are these Kelp Seeds (like crops) or Kelp Saplings (like trees)? Also, do these need to be planted in water for them to grow (like coralcreep and reefpod) or just anywhere? Because I'd actually prefer seeing them be the former to keep them true-to-source.
2: There is a mod called "Craftable Seeds" which adds a Seed Maker station where you can create seeds and saplings in exchance for plant fiber and the resource the seed products (corn seeds need plant fiber and corn; apple tree saplings need plant fiber and apples). Do you plan on creating a 'patch' or compatability mod so your Kelp Seeds/Saplings can be crafted at the Seed Maker? Or is that too far in the future to think about currently?
