idk if this is the place for this discussion but webbing is extremely game breaking.. im glad im the only one playing as an arachne and my friends arent. I enjoy the mod but you want, you can craft a ton and abuse them to stun monsters for 10+ seconds and knockback flying mosnters very far. havent even tested them on bosses. Still great work!

Wow! coming back to starbound and finding out this mod had been updated was a nice surprise! This is still my favorite and main species mod. I know you said this was probably the last update, but just so you know, if you decide to pick this back up, there will be people using it and loving it.

lol, turns out you can make pretty much infinite money with this. You have a special web loom that I think is a fun idea; as the spider you make strings that you may craft a variety of items. One of these items are throwable webs that get enemies stuck (So OP. They can perform attacks, but can't move). Turns out, the 10 you make at a time sell for 7500! more than like, ANYTHING else.
It's awesome being a spider. This is one of my favorites

@DeadlyKitsune They have Traits but the description if broken on many standalone races. There is another my of to fix it or the FU wiki has the stats listed.

Strange thing, but... did the silk loom vanish? I still have items I made before, for the most part, but the cocoon hanging bed vanished, and I can't see where it went.

@Dr.Vermin, yes ,on the wiki you can see the traits they gave it,they made it a mobile spear using speed demon immune to webbed and insanity, and better on dark worlds, also hates fire.

Are there Arachne settlements? if so, where would i find them? If they exist, I need to get them on the extra planet info database so that they show up when you see the planet information while in orbit.

It does this issue for some of the custom races I play, including yours : There is a description when I create the character, only I don't know what perks this race have.

Im having issues getting the race traits in FU to "Kick In" as in they have no stat changes. Am I screwing something up? Is their a patch I need to install?

Be careful with the larger hitbox stuff, though; it breaks some things (especially distortion spheres!). I have a bit of a fix in my development version, if you want to take a look at that join the discord and I can send you the relevant files.

Hello, I would like to ask for permission to eventually upload my giant crayfish species. Since they don't make silk, I didn't need any web stuff but I did (temporarily?) borrow some ship objects (but not the ship itself). I think it's obvious I could not have made them without your sprites since my skill is lacking there. I would of course credit your work and link people back to you. This is really a foundation kinda mod and you have been able to push the limits on character rendering size. I incorporated the larger hitbox mod and I like how they have to back into smaller spaces. I can't imagine how I could turn my pet crayfish into an alien race without the amazing work you have done. He really would walk like an Arachne just with the extra awkward weight of giant claws.

Is there any way to preview how a fully ungraded Arachne ship looks like?

I suggest the "Tech Additions" mod. With it you can make any race fly.
