Otherwise, I might be able to rig something else up that would just let you forage for everything everywhere all the time. What are people's thoughts?
Knowing what I know now, I can't make any guarantees. But what would people specifically like to see out of this mod? I'd like to make it useful again.
And thanks @human bean (great name!) and @Byro for the support :)
Hopefully this will come back somehow so we can choose to use the old system if we wanted to,
because there's some things the old version had that I prefer over the current foraging system.
I want to update this mod. I have to relearn how this whole setup worked so bear with me, but hopefully I'll have an update for you soon :)
ive eneabled this mod to in the main menu yet in multiplayer when i host and in singleplayer i still canot forage anywhere on the map, am i doing something wrong? if there is a solution to this please tell me :)
I previously thought I had someone lined up to work on it, but that never went anywhere. If someone would like to take responsibility for maintenance of this project, I'd be happy to add someone as a creator. DM me if you're interested in updating and enhancing the mod! I might be able to play a secondary role and help out here and there.
Thanks!

Srsly, big shame PZ devs.
Sorry for the delayed response!
That is something I would actually love to add, but it'd take a lot of time. If I have the time someday I'll consider adding that, but can't plan on it anytime soon. This mod works by calling the existing game code in a slightly different order with a modified zone class. If I get some time I'll look into it because that'd be sweet!
for example, many times with hydrocraft, theres tons of stuff to find, but no easy way to see what was found, so having some sort of text (maybe like the player speaking out loud what they found as local chat maybe, or dropping on the floor where we foraged, would help, and we can simply see a much smaller list of items on the floor (loot window), instead of trying to scroll through hundreds of tiny items on the main inventory screen trying to see what we just found :)
Its like grabbing things from the ground in real life without looking and putting poo in your pockets without knowing lol
