Highlights
    [] New Invoke the Bond (Vampires/Hybrids → Progeny).[] Reworked Compel Mortal: powered by trait XP, with clean acceptance math and immersive popups.[] Distance gate: target must be in your realm, your liege’s realm, or a bordering realm; shared court/activity/location bypasses allowed.[] Monster Hunter resistance now scales with hunter XP.
  • Rank-aware resistance uses highest held title only (Duke −10, King −15, Emperor −25); +10 if target is your vassal.

    [] Compulsion options: Demand Gold, Become My Lover, Do What I Say (hook), Reveal Secrets, Join My Court, Release From Prison, Become My Patron (adventurer), End Your Life.[] Success/Failure message events for both sides (actor sees “Compulsion: Success/Failure”; recipient gets an immersive “time-loss / you resisted a vampire” notice).
  • Two perk nodes added/repurposed in the Vampirism tree:
    Retinue of Night — supernatural animal/monster size +1, men-at-arms maintenance per dread ↓, hard casualties ↓, +1 knight.
    Celerity of Ages — movement speed ↑, travel speed ↑, +1 learn-language scheme, scheme secrecy ↑.

Balance
    [] Compulsion consumes Vampirism/Hybrid track XP by option; Werewolf targets apply an extra −5 XP surcharge.[] Knowing your nature −30; prisoner +50; same dynasty +10.
  • Rank penalties no longer “double dip” (only the top tier applies).

Fixes
    [] Demand Gold: now correctly transfers −100 from the target and +100 to the actor, with proper interface messages.[] Join My Court: shows the standard “joins your court” preview and uses vanilla [icode]move_to_court[/icode] logic.[] Range-gate tooltip added: “Target must be within your realm, your liege’s realm, or a bordering realm.”[] Court/location/activity proximity checks rewritten to valid triggers (no more [icode]exists = activity[/icode] errors in logs).

Perk & Track Pass
    [] Moved from trait tracks → perks: movement speed, max learn language schemes, supernatural animal/monster size.[] Re-tuned Compulsion perk toward economy & sway (war income, vassal taxes, republic opinion).

Modding/Tech
    [] Scripted values/utilities: [icode]spn_compulsion_margin_accept[/icode] and [icode]spn_compulsion_hunter_resist[/icode] (XP-scaled hunter resistance).[] New compulsion range-gate block for reuse across interactions.

A content update focused on vampiric control, Hunter improvements, event polish, and supernatural balance tuning.

Highlights
  • Added “Invoke the Bond” interaction for Vampires and Hybrids to influence Progeny
  • Added Vampire Compulsion (Vampire to Human), powered by trait XP
  • Themed escape options added to Astaroth event chain for supernatural traits
  • Introduced new Monster Hunter template with correct trait/secret application
  • Interaction UI cleanup: Supernatural category added to help group powers

Stability & Fixes
  • Bond interactions now show proper grey-out and requirements when unavailable
  • Escape scenes cleaned to prevent visual/logic bugs (no more teleporting Astaroth)
  • Added opinion modifier when using bond actions (for strained relationships)

Balance Changes
  • Bond commands consume Vampirism/Hybrid XP based on strength of the action (5–75+)
  • Sire vs. Progeny power margin now influences AI acceptance behind the scenes
  • No hooks required — power scaling is based entirely on supernatural XP investment

A maintenance and polish update: fixes for immortals and magic perks, stability work, and Witchcraft sync.

Highlights
  • Fixed immortals going bald at advanced ages
  • Fixed perk points not spendable in magic trees
  • Stability pass with code cleanups and logic fixes
  • Updated with the latest Witchcraft changes
  • Numerous minor tweaks and general polish

Stability & Fixes
  • Resolved an issue where immortal characters could lose hair after reaching very high ages
  • Corrected perk point spending in magic trees (points now apply as intended)
  • General script and logic tidy-up to reduce edge-case errors and improve reliability

A focused pass on polish and power: cleaner vampire feeding, capstone “Master Focus” for long-lived characters, stat buffs across all supernaturals, and general fixes.

Highlights
  • Vampire Feeding: invites reduced; disabled once Vampirism is maxed
  • Supernatural Focuses buffed; new Master Focus (no XP) after completing a lifestyle tree
  • Stat boosts for Vampires, Werewolves, Hybrids, and Hunters
  • Added blackmagic_focus to two checks previously missing it
  • Removed Potion Crafting and regional ingredients system
  • New focus icons and general polish
  • Witchcraft bug fixes; reduced error log spam

Gameplay & Balance
  • Vampire Feeding: Invitation frequency significantly lowered to prevent spam
  • Vampire Feeding: Invitations no longer appear when your Vampirism track is fully maxed
  • Supernatural Focuses: Buffed to better reflect late-game power
  • Master Focus (Endgame): Unlocks after completing a supernatural lifestyle tree; grants no XP and acts as a stable “capstone” focus you can sit in indefinitely
  • Global Stat Pass: Increased core stats for Vampires, Werewolves, Hybrids, and Hunters to improve feel and fantasy

Systems & Content
  • blackmagic_focus parity: Added where logic previously only checked witch_focus / arcane_focus (2 instances corrected)
  • Removed: Legacy Potion Crafting + regional ingredient routing (unreliable and out of scope for current goals)
  • UI/Art: New icons for the new/master focuses

Stability & Fixes
  • Witchcraft/witchery tweaks and small bug fixes
  • Reduced script log noise and minor polish across events/loc

+ Rewrote/polished text for the Summon Demon decision and related events (typos, clarity, tone)

+ Corrected Witch Arcane perk tree gating to prevent unintended/unearned unlocks
