**Highmane's Arsenal 1.7.1**
**Highlights:** 3.0 Compatibility and Balance Update, Significant Item Changes, Item Removal :(, Spear Light Rework

**ITEM REMOVAL AND ALTERATION:**
All 'Armor' variants that give stats have been temporarily removed until balance for 3.0 is figured out
All 'Bond' items have been temporarily removed, as warpaints no longer give stats. 'Rings' fill in to replace them.
All 'Archer's' weapon variants have been removed
All 'Sorcerer's' weapon variants have been removed
All 'Relic' tier weapons no longer provide any stat bonuses
All 'Fabled' tier weapons were removed in order to be redone down the line
All Skeleton Key weapons have had their overwrites removed, and are back to what they were until I can take the time to redo them again.
All Katana overwrites were removed, as they were unnecessary due to the animation being fixed in previous updates.
Redid Explosive Jars to behave the new way and still deal increased damage.
Tagged all combo finishers as combo finishers so they can benefit from the new Strength perk, including infinite chains (the last hit before the combo reset will count as a finisher)
Flask of Dreams & Flask of Nightmares were removed
Sorcerer's Weapons are now Common Tier and no longer provide sorcerer bonuses
Increased mod Building Pieces health to match their new changes
New Buff Items (including Elixirs) all changed to .3 weight and set not to perish, added food recipes to Highmane's Cooking
Witch Doctor was added back as a feat, spawnable through a recipe paper
Implemented Building Pieces into Construction Hammer

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Slight nerf to quickvenom, as it was on par with Scorpion Queen Poison last update when it should've been slightly weaker. Exponential scale reduced from 1.25 to 1.1
Reduced the damage of Offhand Axe Combos by 5% to put them more in line with their 1 handed variants
Mace 1h + Offhand Axe finisher no longer ignores shields
All Offhand Axe combo attacks had their knockbacks standardized as 'Stun Quick.' Some were classed as 'Stun Lengthy' which could cause rubberbanding on higher latencies when struck, this should alleviate that issue.
Sword Heavy 3 now uses slightly less stamina, lowering full combo cost from 47 to 42
Spear Heavy 1 nerf reverted, now uses vanilla numbers again: 12 stamina (down from 16)

Spear's Light Combo was redone in a style more respective of how the old spear lights used to be

Slowed down Quarterstaff's first and second heavy animation slightly
Significantly increased delay before you can cancel out of first and second heavy's attacks with movement or another attack. Combo advance speed unchanged. Dodge window improved to cover a big gap in the middle of the animation for first heavy.
Slightly increased delay before you can advance ahead of Heavy 4

Increased damage multiplier of Ultra Greatsword Offhand (1.5 > 1.6x) and Ultra Greatsword Offhand Sprint (1.6x > 1.75x) The damage was a little too close to greatsword's chop, which comes out significantly faster, so this should help create a proper difference between them.

Elixir of Warmth and Elixir of Coldth - 12 hour temperature potions that are craftable and come with a cleansing item

Rings - A new accessory item that offers unique buffs, meant to either enhance your build or fill a gap in your armor category. They come in three tiers - Legendary, Fabled, and Relic. Legendary start off as simple items, but they will serve as a base when you combine them into legendary tiers, and those will serve as the next base to reach the next tier. Crafting recipes get difficult the higher your ring tier, and while the benefits become more widespread the higher up you go, they do suffer from diminishing returns.

Cultist Robes, Lemurian Royal Regalia, Nomad Pants, Simple Harness (Accessory),

**Admin Only Items:** Recipe: Witch Doctor, Invisible Construction Hammer, Sorcery: All Spells (Instantly teaches all spells when consumed), Eyes of the Night

**Other Changes:**
Removed all Roleplay Items, Runes, Town Keys, and Tokens included with the mod. These were all ported over to the Cursed Sands Map Mod.
All accessories can now be dismantled. They only give 1 iron bar, but at least now they won't just sit in the dismantling bench. Rings have seperate dismantle returns that are parts of what it cost to craft them.
Adjusted where the sound of the Nitro Express Rifle comes from to hopefully make it less strange when firing and turning.
Added a recipe for Set's Tongue to Special Weapons and slightly increased their damage to match dagger standard
Made the Spoon more dangerous
Added Legendary Repair kits and Dragonpowder to Highmane's Essentials feat
Modifed all buff items to weigh .3 and never perish
Modified Corrupting brew to give the same amount of corruption as Cleansing Brew removes (25 > 100)
Night Owl Beans are now known as Nightvision Beans
Reduced the weight of Antidotes from .88 to .3

**Highmane's Arsenal 1.7.0**
**Highlights:** Weapon Hitbox Changes, Bugfixes

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Overhauled the Hitboxes for all moves relating to these weapon classes:
Javelin (Hitbox was slightly shorter than the weapon model, roughly a spear-tip's so)
Spear (Hitbox was using broken Blade modifer, making the weapon's hitbox about 1.4x as long as the model - corrected it to normal length. Note that this means weapon skin no longer determines hitbox size.)

Adjusted Javelin Light 1 with Shield to match Javelin Light 1 without shield (faster)
Adjusted Spear Heavy 4 so it's easier to land the hit when someone is very close to you
Adjusted Spear Heavy 2 and 3 to have slightly increased forward movement for increased combo pressure and increase viability of going into chains

Caria Musket Heavy had its heavy attack changed for better visuals and functionality, and is now a quick thrust

Quickvenom Poison now has exponential scaling set at 1.25x from 1x (Scorpion Queen is 1.5x for comparison)
Quickvenom Poison now lasts 10 seconds instead of 5 and ticks for a total of 30 times up from 15 if not cleansed

Crossbows, Muskets, and Flintlocks all now consume a flat 10 stamina when fired

Quarterstaff Heavy 1, 3, 4, and 5 have received reduced hyper armor - you are now only protected during the damaging part of your animation, and only afterwards up until the soonest point you're allowed to advance the combo.
Quarterstaff Heavy 2 hyper armor was changed to match Quarterstaff Heavy 1
Quarterstaff Light 1 no longer has hyper armor during the windup, only during attacking phase.
Quarterstaff Heavies 1 & 2 damage reduced (1.2x multiplier from 1.4x) and no longer cripple

Modified the Breech-Loading Musket model to be skinnier, fit in the hands better, and work better when displayed
Caria Magic Musket, Caria Magic Bow, and Caria Magic Crossbow can all no longer be modified by weapon fittings in an effort to fix their function. They will come with increased stats to compensate for this change, and had a Gem of Penetration added to their crafting recipe.

**Highmane's Arsenal 1.6.9** nice
**Highlights:** Hammer Fix & Improvements, Quarterstaff Adjustments, Fixed Bird Feet

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Fixed Hammer Hitbox being twice as long as the weapon model the same way Funcom has done with 3.0 update. If you're curious for a comparison on the hitboxes sizes, check the combat discussion channel in the mod discord!
Improved 2h Hammer Light Sprint Attack by making it faster and making travel time a little more natural feeling
Gave 2h Hammer a new Heavy Sprint Attack - a high damage running, sundering slam that chains into the 2nd part of your combos
20% reduced wind-up time for the first hammer heavy, resulting in a quicker attack
Hammer 3rd heavy chains into the next attack quicker
These changes also entirely untie the models of hammer from the hitboxes of it's moves, meaning you can all stop using argossean warhammer! Yay!

Quarterstaff first heavy now has slightly increased range
Quarterstaff can now chain into spin off of light attacks
Slightly reduced speed of looping spin attack, and added significantly increased knockback to it to prevent it from vortexing enemies to death
Improved hitboxes across all moves to match the tip of the weapon better. Before, the hitboxes were falling around a hands-length short of the tip of the weapon.
Quarterstaff Heavy 3 & 4 now applies Cripple instead of nothing
Quarterstaff Heavy 5 now applies Sunder instead of Cripple
Increased damage multiplier of Quarterstaff Heavy 5 (1x > 1.1x)
Improved hyper armor of 2nd light
Sword Opener Heavy damage multiplier increased (1x > 1.25x)

**Highmane's Arsenal 1.6.8**
**Highlights:** Quarterstaff Weapon

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
New Weapon - The Quarterstaff. Lower damage, fast attacks, and the ability to cover wide areas, combo fluidly, and cripple your enemies.
A quick, low damage infinite chain of light attacks that combos either into the first heavy or second heavy depending on the move. You can infinitely chain with your heavies too by alternating between lights and heavies every attack.
Heavy Attacks are wide strikes that cover good area, and cripple your opponents when you hit them. Heavies have a 5 hit chain as opposed to the standard 4 hit chain.
Offhand Attacks let you engage in a rapid spin as long as your stamina lasts that will knockback and cripple anything you strike. You can enter your spin at any time after a heavy with your offhand attack, or on your second offhand attack. Spin cannot be entered after a light attack.
Sprint Attacks include an easy to land, low damage move on the light, a higher damage crippling strike on the heavy, and a powerful spinning move on the offhand.

**Highlights:** Bugfixes, Respawn Time Changes, New Stuff

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Modified Respawn Timers - Regardless of your source of death, your respawn timer is now 5 seconds.

Fixed Sword's Mid-chain bash chaining in reverse on light/heavy inputs
Reduced stagger time of mid-chain bashes for opponents
Entering a finisher after a mid-chain bash will no longer apply a knockdown, and is instead a short stun. Standard combos will still apply knockdown on finishers when applicable.
Reduced mid-chain bash damage multiplier (1.25x > .9x)
Corrected the cripple effect on Striking Shields - it was incorrectly applying Severe Cripple when it should have been a regular Cripple

**Unique Weapons:**
The Predatory Blade buff - overwrote the pre-existing weapon to now deal some heavy attack damage (39 damage up from 1, best in slot sword currently does 68 for reference.)

Underdark Javelin - A relic from places far below that is imbued with Rotflesh Poison and can be thrown infinitely with high velocity, but slower than a normal throw. Thrown javelins that strike enemies inflict a powerful cripple on them for a short time, and you can combo your throws into each other for quick follow ups so long as your stamina lasts.

Clothing: Barefoot Pegleg (L) and (R), Inquisitor Hat, Hands, Hands (Tucks Armor). Both hand items will hide the bracelet of the player, and the tuck armor variant will roll up the sleeves of your armor if it has a tucked variant made for it. Hand items are not craftable, access them with your fashion mod of choice!

**Highmane's Arsenal 1.6.6**
**Highlights:** Bugfix

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Fixed Caria Bow Heavy Attack T-Pose
Increased forward movement and hitbox detection of Javelin Heavy Shield Finisher

Throwing Axe + Offhand Changes:
All combos will now use the same stamina cost as swinging the weapon without a throwing axe. Prior to this update, it used close to half as much stamina as the normal weapon does, making it an incredibly forgiving and aggressive weapon combo set.
Movement cancel and attack cancel timings have been shifted further back into the animation to allow more opportunity for punishment and slightly reduce aggression on misses, dodge timings remain unchanged

Increased Stamina Cost of Mace Heavy Finisher (7 > 17) ((sowwy))

Overhauled bash attack function and increased their speed by 15%
Bashes can now be used mid-chain with 1h Axe, 1h Sword, and 1h Mace. When used in the middle of combos, their next attack will be their respective finishers, allowing you to skip parts of the combo to reach your finishers quicker.
Standardized Bash Attack cost at 8 stamina, and changed their logic: Opener / Sprint bashes will still deal high knockback and now will all use the same animations. Bashes used in the middle of chains will use less knockback and use a seperate animation to help show it is a differing attack, and chain directly into your finisher moves.

Mythril Longsword - A one-handed greatsword that uses bashes instead of chops, this weapon deals slightly less damage than it's full greatsword counterparts but is longer than a traditional one-handed sword and can be wielded with both a shield or offhand throwing weapon for unique combos.
Striking Roundshield & Heater Shield - Increases the damage of bashes and allows them to be used mid-chain, as well as adding a cripple effect

**Highmane's Arsenal 1.6.5**
**Highlights:** Decorations, Siege Damage adjustments, Offhand Axe Adjustments, New Relic Weapons

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Increased the blast radius for siege damage on Explosive Grenades (256 to 300)
Increased the siege damage on Explosives Greandes (2500 to 3000)
Increased the inner blast radius for Explosive Jars (300 to 450)
Increased the blast damage of Explosive Jars (6000 + Fire to 9000 + Fire)
Slightly increased the velocity of Explosive Siege Bolts, rather than being about 20% further range than an explosive jar's placement it's now closer to about 80%

Caria Magic Sword can no longer be poisoned to fix it breaking offhand functionality. To compensate, the sword has innate Quickvenom Poison built into it. It is only applied on melee hits
Fixed Caria Magic Sword's sprint attack to be identical to the standard One Handed Sword

All Throwing variant weapons except Javelin from the mod can now be thrown 25 times before breaking (up from 17)

Offhand Axe (OHA) combo changes to even out damage values across combo types and add differing status effects between all of them: Axe now has a primary focus of bleed, Sword has a primary focus of cripple, and Mace has a mixed focus of cripple and sunder.
Axe + OHA Heavy 4: Damage increased (.9x > 1x), Sunder proc changed to Bleed proc
Axe + OHA Heavy 3: Damage increased (.75x > .9x)
Axe + OHA Heavy 2: Damage increased (1.5x > 1.55x)
Overall, Axe + Offhand Axe has seen a damage increase.

Mace + OHA Heavy 4: Damage decreased (1x > .9x)
Mace + OHA Heavy 3: Damage decreased (.85x > .75x) Sunder proc changed to Cripple proc
Mace + OHA Heavy 2: Damage decreased (1.5x > 1.35x)
Overall, Mace + Offhand Axe has seen a damage decrease. Compared to its peers, it was overperforming and really the only choice if you wanted to use this combo.

Sword + OHA Heavy 4: (.9x > 1.03x) Sunder proc changed to cripple proc
Sword + OHA Heavy 3: Damage increased (.85x > .88x)
Sword + OHA Heavy 2: Damage increased (.75x > .78x)
Overall, Sword + Offhand Axe has seen a damage increase.

Mace Light Opener stamina cost increased (3 > 6)
Mace Heavy Opener stamina cost increased (3 > 10)
Mace Heavy Opener now has a much shorter windup before initiating attacks and now has full hyper armor coverage

Axe Heavy after Bash now matches the new Mace Heavy Opener (faster)
Adjusted Rapier Offhand's dodge window so it can now be used almost instantly for improved evasion

**Unique Weapons:**
Caria Magic Bow - This weapon removes the need for ammo (as well as having 100% consistency with actually firing it's projectiles in high lag) and enables the wielder to dodge backwards on the offhand and chain into the attacks during the dodge.
Caria Magic Crossbow - This weapon, like the bow, does not require ammo. With the heavy attack you are able to bash opponents away, and with your offhand you are able to dodge backwards.
Goldforged Katana - Imbued with a holy flame, this weapon utilises an immensely powerful thrust that massively debilitates enemies instead of the dash attack with it's offhand.

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Offhand Grenades can now be thrown while moving the same as how mainhand grenades can

**New Content:**

**Unique Weapons:**
Relic Tier - A new rarity type that includes weapons with unique offensive capabilites. They will be as you expect from their standard light and heavy attacks, but all special moves will be unique to that weapon.
Wolf Knight Ultra Greatsword - Increases Grit and Str and delivers a large, sundering shockwave with its special attack
Caria Sword - Increases Agility and Vit and can be infinitely and quickly thrown with the offhand attack

**Other Changes:**
Fixed a crashing issue with Vanir Medium Skirt when attempting to dye it
Fixed a server crashing issue with Woodglass Wall Full
Fixed Sloped Wood Glass Walls texture and improved alignment

**Highmane's Arsenal Update 1.6.3**
**Highlights:** Woodglass Building Set

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Quickvenom Poison now stacks to 10 (from 6)
Added a combo attack to the 'Knockback Paddle' and all weapons in that category (Knockback Paddle, Jesse Whacker)
Athena's Scorn (debuff from striking Athena's Shield) now applies 34% sunder instead of 25%

Greataxe:
Greataxe Heavy 3 has received a timing change to give it less windup and slightly faster attack speeds, as well as hitbox improvements. Damage multiplier was reduced from 1.5 to 1.3
Greataxe Heavies 2, 3, and 4 have received improved hyper armor during startup frames. This will allow you to trade attacks easier, as the weapon doesn't have an incredible aggressive forward movement with its attacks.

Spear:
Improved fluidity by adjusting timings between heavys 2 > 3 and 3 > 4 to get rid of the awkward pause (funcom is making this same change in 3.0, so here's an early feel for it)
Spear offhand can now be initiated in the middle of heavy chains
Spear offhand now chains into 3rd light or heavy in addition to the sweep attack
Increased stamina cost multiplier of first heavy (1.5 > 2)
Slight delay added before being able to enter the 2nd part of the offhand chain
Adjusted dodge roll timings for offhand 1 and 2 - 1 can no longer dodge as freely, 2 can dodge much sooner out of the sweep

**New Content:**

Decoration: Burning Hearth, Pile of Rubble, Comfy Pillow, Kelp Plant 1-5, Steel Standing Torch, Steel Wall Torch

Building Pieces: Woodglass Building Set, a new set of glass walls, ceilings, and a pillar complete with a wooded border and borderless variants with a cleaner look. Most glass will mesh seamlessly with eachother for creating intricate designs.

Weapons: Crusader Sword, Wooden Stick Mace, Knight's Throwing Knife, Desert Throwing Knife, Goblin Throwing Knife, Tanto Throwing Knife, Hunting Throwing Knife, Star Metal Javelin, Star Metal Mallet Axe, Bardiche Greataxe, Broad Sword
All javelins from the vanilla game were extended to match the lengths of the ones introduced in the mod
Adjusted Skull Stick spear length to match others

Unique Weapons:
Vile Mace, inflicts Rotflesh Poison (sunder) on hit
Demon Mace, inflicts heavy bleed on hit
Offhand Light Grenade, creates a temporary light source where it lands for 2 minutes
Agile Throwing Axe, provides +5 Agility. Found under Fabled Ranged Weapons
Strong Throwing Axe, provides +5 Strength. Found under Fabled Ranged Weapons
Throwing Javelin, utilizes the Javelin moveset but the offhand performs a reusable throw instead of a bash attack. The throwing scales with strength, and the weapon can be thrown repeatedly. Found under Special Weapons.

Roleplay Items: Scout Report, Warrior's Writings, Political Paperwork

Developer Items: Jesse Whacker (Knockback Paddle variant)

WIP Items: Racial Kit 1, Scattershot Musket, Scattershot Musket Ammo, Caria Magic

**~ Other Changes:**
Standardized weights across all weapon types within the mod to match their respective vanilla counterparts
Reduced weight of crafted Explosive Jars from 10 to 2.5, and adjusted their repair/dismantle recipe to prevent an infinite dragonpowder exploit
Slightly darkened the material of the Old Glass Wall
Adjusted the Univeral Processing Bench recipes for growing plants to prevent them from going infinite when combined with a dryer. Mainly affects Lotus and Aloe. Also reduced the compost cost of some of the higher end plant crafts.
Set (DEV) items to 0 weight
Renamed Glass Wall to Old Glass Wall
Experimental fix for Crossbow and Musket animation locking you on use while in higher latency connections
Reduced the Khari Steel requirement of Special recipes by 40%

**Highlights:**

**Combat and Balance Changes:**
Adjusted the musket aim so it stops shooting high at longer distances
Increased the speed of Greataxe Light 4 to match Light 5

Daggers: Daggers are being changed to make them more competitive picks after the nerfs they received previously, as well as reduce some of the more stressful elements of both fighting against and using the weapon.
Backflip now chains directly into light or heavy finishers
Backflip can now be used mid-chain, but not on finishers
Heavy Attack Damage Multiplier Changes: Heavy 1 (.85 > .7) Heavy 2 (.85 > .7) Heavy 3 (.4 > .7) Heavy 4 (1 > 1.4) Damage evenly spread out through all moves, finisher damage increased heavily
Light Attack Damage Multiplier Changes: Light 1 (1.2 > .9) Light 2 (1.2 > .9) Light 3 (.8 > 1.3) Light 4 (.9 > 1.4) First two attacks deal less damage, later combo moves deal more
Light Attacks 3 & 4 now use one larger hitbox - before it was 2 stacked on top of eachother, and often one of them would simply not register and you would deal less damage than intended.
Increased speed of Dagger Heavy Finisher by 20%
Decreased the forward movement of the first 2 lights by around 20%
Improved hitboxes for the weapon across the board, making it easier to land attacks
Dagger Heavies 1 and 2 Chain into the next attacks quicker
Improved Hyper Armor on heavy finisher
Sound pass on all dagger moves to give them a sharper swishy noise
