Lone Wolf Survival (SP) 1:12

描述
Something went horribly wrong, but you don't know what. You and your crewmates were in orbit around Mars, ready to de-orbit in a few days when it happened. You bearly got to an emergency escape pod in time, and as for your crewmates... Best not to dwell. The ship automatically sent down the equipment with your emergency escape vehicle, and there is a supply pod already located on the ground packed with some goodies. There is no way to get back. Do your best to survive and thrive; you'll be stuck there for a long time.

NOTE: This is my first ever scenario, so I'm sorry if it is not very good... Also, I have no idea if it is balanced/possible so hit me up with your results! :D This secenario is in a 1:12 time scale. If you would like a 1:1, 1:24, etc. just let me know!

Hi all, I know this is very old but I made a newer version of this scenario. I called it Lone Survivor and it should be on the workshop. Wanted to start from a fresh slate coming back to the game, and I looked at this one in the editor and it is very broken

yea i think there should be addition food and water and stuff like oxygen and methane in a drop thurther out so you would need to use the rover but just add more food and water in to supply drops already around

@UR|ashein I think it is a great idea to add some outpost materials around the map and I will get on that

@killer_Foxy, the sustainance issue here is that for the hydroponics and water station to work you need a sealed environment, i.e. an outpost. Wish you could mount those into your landing module, but that won't work. To build a minimalistic outpost you'll need a lot of resources and a larger printer (the airlocks seem to be the largest objects to build, requiring, like, a 3x3x4 printer or so?). More precious time is needed.

Or maybe more supply drops strewn around the map, with either additional food/water, or outpost components, or outpost "furnishing" including hydroponics/water station; the more valuable stuff, the further away the supply drops.

Don't know if it's possible to randomize the supply drop coordinates (better to choose between preset coord), but if that was a thing, that would give a lot of replayability/discovery to the scenario.

and the only problem i see it lack of food and water so can you add an addition supply drop that has a potato growing think and water tanks to make more water

when i was new to TKOM this was the first map i ever played it was fun exploring the map and going to all the supply drops and also i love how you made the supply drops i remember 2 days after i started playing i found the supply drop on the hill with the rover i thought it was very cool and i would love to see it updated i really think this is an amazing map and it helped teach me about TKOM.

Also do note that there's the info by the dev on how you can add items into containers that spawn in the shipment drops. That will require manual editing of the file and assigning the items to specific slots in the containers. I've only played with manually assigning stuff to a pre-created astronaut in the scenario, though, so there might be some nuances.

Regarding the consumables vs. the progress, I had only been able to expand the printer to 2x2x4 and print the water dispenser and hydroponics module when my food/water supplies ran out. I'd say doubling the supplies amount would have helped me survive. Note that I was basically always running around, seeing how that only increased oxygen consumption, not calories/water burn ratios.

Thanks for your scenario, keep up the good work!
