Multidirectional Force Pads

描述
This mod adds multiple directions to the force pad object in Starbound. In vanilla Starbound, there is only an upward force pad in the assets, and as far as I know it does not actually appear in-game. Now you can send your characters flying left, right, up, or down, when they get too close to this wired object. These objects are a rare drop in Apex Test Facilities and Apex Miniknog Bases, and once you find one, you'll automatically unlock all of them as recipes, which you can craft at the Wiring Station.

Currently there is an issue with the left/right ones, where they won't always be facing the correct direction when placed. This bug has so far eluded every attempt to squash it, and once I finally figure it out, a new update will be released fixing it for good.

obviously it's been a few years since this has been updated but I figured i'd mention that there's a literal single character typo in the loot file; on line 23 of largedungeons.treasurepools.patch you have 'forcepadright' mispelled as 'forcepadtight' which just makes it a perfectly generic item since it's an invalid id

I'd just release a mod to patch it but 1. it's such a minor fix that it seems silly to upload a whole mod to address, and 2. I figured I should at least tell you about it first

Well, I'm not playing RN either, but it should be good for the community to have this mod back IMO.

I'm finally back to playing Starbound, and if anyone's still interested in this mod, I'll update it.

Used to rely on this mod a lot on previous gameplays... but doesn't seem like it's been updated for a couple of years... could you update it please? It'll do wonders to my buildings :D

they do, as well as noclip enemies, including the erchius ghost (they still drain your life you get close, though)
P.S, this mod should honestly be in vanilla, i've built stuff like working fire plumbing with this.

@Sea Pickle sorry for not getting back to you, I haven't been too active in Starbound lately. I should be able to fix the l/r bug easily enough, and I'll have one-tile pads in a future update as well. Thanks for the feedback too, I didn't realize the force pads worked against meteors and such!
