Altimeter (distance to surface)

描述
The Altimeter is a new craftable tool (via the Agricultural Station) that shows you how far above/under ground you are. This can aid you in returning to the surface or keeping your bearings in the world.

There are two flavours available:

- The standard Altimeter attempts to determine the exact point of the surface depending on where in the world you are. When deep underground, an approximation is used due to engine limitations. Once you get closer to the surface, a more exact calculation is attempted.
- The "Sea level" Altimeter uses a fixed level across the entire world regardless of where the surface actually is.

The Altimeter does not work in your ship, in missions, or at the outpost.

I tried it in v1.4 (natural) for the heck of it. You have to craft it and there are two different types. I tried both and neither worked. You are supposed to carry it to get a measure (I did) and i tried going well below ground, and tried even hitting E and left/right clicking to activate it - nada.

Hi, I would like to comment that I have tried this mod, and in fact if it works, or should I say it worked, unfortunately after the starbound update to version 1.2 it started to have flaws and currently it does not work, I ask the creator of the mod that Please fix the bug, as this is one of my favorite mods.

I also want to add that the altitude display is difficult to see, especially in dark caves, I suggest putting it in a dialogue bubble so that you can clearly know the distance to the surface.

Strange, haven't seen anything like that. Can you maybe give the world coordinates?

1. I mean in the same high level but when i'm in dark it shows purple -190, when i'm in bright light close to torch for example i'm gettind grey -75 numbers. (In the same depth)
2. I'm getting -190 and when i'm climbing up the numbers are raising, to -195....

Do you have an example of a random number? Maybe a screenshot of the issue? Something I can act on?:)
