I tried it in v1.4 (natural) for the heck of it. You have to craft it and there are two different types. I tried both and neither worked. You are supposed to carry it to get a measure (I did) and i tried going well below ground, and tried even hitting E and left/right clicking to activate it - nada.

Damn, still no update.

Hi, I would like to comment that I have tried this mod, and in fact if it works, or should I say it worked, unfortunately after the starbound update to version 1.2 it started to have flaws and currently it does not work, I ask the creator of the mod that Please fix the bug, as this is one of my favorite mods.

I also want to add that the altitude display is difficult to see, especially in dark caves, I suggest putting it in a dialogue bubble so that you can clearly know the distance to the surface.

Strange, haven't seen anything like that. Can you maybe give the world coordinates?

1. I mean in the same high level but when i'm in dark it shows purple -190, when i'm in bright light close to torch for example i'm gettind grey -75 numbers. (In the same depth)
2. I'm getting -190 and when i'm climbing up the numbers are raising, to -195....

Do you have an example of a random number? Maybe a screenshot of the issue? Something I can act on?:)
