描述

A Standard scenario for the original ECML (York - Newcastle) route

Take a Class 31 hauled local service from Newcastle to Darlington

Difficulty : Easy
Duration : 45 - 50 mins
Traction : BR Blue Class 31
Period : Mid to late 70's

As the ECML comes with the default stock I decided to add a bit of variety to my 'Default' scenario's I decided to include the Class 31 Freight pack and the Class 101 DMU pack.

If you feel the scenario isn't good enough and you give it thumbs down, please let me know why. I won't jump down your throat or ridicule. I'm open to suggestion and criticism. The more you inform me of what you didn't like, the better understanding I have of what people look for in a scenario.

Nope in 32 bit mode I get the dreaded 0xC0000005 ACCESS VIOLATION error, so its down to Dovetail, (again) It has only been common since 64bit escaped.

why does my train derail before the scenario loads properly? Is it 'cos I run Train Sim in 64bit mode?

Many thanks for the comment Snapper. Unfortunately, the passengers on platform is out of my hands, that's the route itself. As far ai services you've got to think logically to find some sort of realism on a double track. For example, Infront of an express, you're going to have a decent gap front and rear, one to allow him to run at line speed without catching anyone and a gap behind was created because he's faster than everyone else. A slow freight is the exact opposite, a good gap created behind so not many catch him before a passing loop, a good gap infront is created because everyone is quicker than him. How many local services would you see between Chester le Street and Darlington in 30 mins? It's a trade off unfortunately. Realism against interest.

Good scenario good amount of AI traffic out of Newcastle but needs more AI traffic on route also needs more passengers on platforms but still a good scenario. Thank you for sharing.
