Tired of your ruler always striking the same pose, regardless of whether they're celebrating a victory, mourning a loss, or plotting a murder? Dynamic Family Portrait breathes life into your characters by making their idle stances change dynamically based on their personality, circumstances, and actions. Witness your ruler's portrait transform into a true reflection of their inner state and current endeavors.
-> The mod also adds your Waifu and Heir to the hud, with dynamic idle poses!

Inspired by Change Idle Pose, this mod arose from the following question: What if my characters' portraits changed dynamically? Why isn't this a feature in the base game? Well, putting the pieces together, I created this mod. It's simple and functional, but not "perfect" (since the base game doesn't include smooth transitions).

-> Also introduces a larger player portrait and enhances characters appearances with adjusted brightness for fairer, more natural skin tones (borrowed from Simple Graphic Pack)

• A Truly Dynamic Portrait: Your character's pose is no longer static. Every few months, the mod evaluates your ruler's situation and selects a fitting new idle animation from a vast library of possibilities. This system ensures your character's appearance stays fresh and relevant to their story.
  
  
• Poses that Reflect Personality: A character's core traits are now visibly expressed in their posture:
  
  • An Ambitious ruler might stand with a confident, forward-leaning posture, ready to seize what is theirs.
    
  • A Brave warrior will adopt a heroic stance, while a Craven character will appear nervous and uncertain.
    
  • The Wrathful will seethe with anger, the Lazy will look bored, and the Lustful might strike a flirtatious pose.
    
  • Culture plays a role too! An Ambitious Japanese ruler might assume a commanding Hasso-no-kamae stance, while a humble Chinese character may adopt a respectful Gongshou bow.
  
  
• Actions Have Consequences (for your Pose): Your ruler's current actions and situation are heavily weighted in the selection of their pose:
  
  • Wartime Commander: A ruler leading an army in wartime will look the part, with poses ranging from an aggressive battle stance to a thoughtful, map-inspecting posture. A tribal warlord might brandish an axe, while a nomadic horse-archer rests with their bow.
    
  • At Peace, But Busy: A ruler at peace but engaged in a tense faction struggle may appear worried. High dread might lead to a menacing stance. A ruler with a newborn child will cradle them lovingly.
    
  • Schemers and Spies: Characters involved in murder plots or intrigue schemes may adopt a shifty, conspiratorial pose befitting a spymaster. Seducers might appear flirtatious, while those being bribed look greedy.
    
  • Lifestyle & Stress: A stressed character might look haggard and weary, while one with high piety may be seen in prayer. Drunkards will look suitably inebriated, and a wounded character will appear in pain.
  
  
• Bigger Portrait & Fairer Skin: To better appreciate these new dynamic poses, the mod increases the size of the main player portrait. Additionally, subtle brightness adjustments have been made to create fairer and more vibrant skin tones for all characters, enhancing their visual appeal.

• This mod is designed to be broadly compatible with other mods.
  
• Replaces "hud.gui" to add the spouse portrait. Not sure if its commonly replaced.
  
• Replaces "animations.txt", conflicting with AGOT (and maybe other fantasy TCs)
  
• Compatible with EPE, CFP, RICE, etc (These mods dont replace "animations.txt")
  
• NOT Compatible with Change Idle Pose. Both mods change "animations.txt"
  
• No DLC required. Safe to add to an existing save game.
