Sokan kértétek, hogy osszam meg a videóimban használt magyarítást. Egyelőre keveseebb, mint félkész állapotban van, de igyekszem vele haladni, ahogy időmből és energiámból telik. Ugyanakkor van rá esély, hogy sosem lesz teljesen kész, erre még most készüljetek lélekben.

A fordítás során a kezelőfelület élvez előnyt, ezért az események, döntések nagy része még nem került sorra. Ez alól kivételt képez a magyar specifikusak, azokat igyekszem előrevenni.

- Szükségem van DLC-kre a mod futtatásához?
- Nem.

- Új játékot kell kezdenem hozzá?
- Nem.

- Milyen modokkal kompatibilis?
- Bármivel egészen addig, amig az adott mod bele nem nyúl a szövegezésbe. A grafikai és mechanikai modok nem kellene, hogy problémát jelentsenek

- Mikor jön a következő verzió?
- Lehet holnap, lehet jövő karácsonykor, ki tudja.

- Azt írja, nem kompatibilis a mostani játékverzióval.
- Oké, ez egy összetett kérdés. Ha kijön egy nagyobb patch, akkor egy-két nap alatt befrissítem a magyarítást, hogy ha nem is magyarul lesznek az új sorok, szövegek, legalább ne fusson hibára. Ha viszont kisebb hotfix van akkor nagy eséllyel nem is kell semmit sem csinálnom vele. Ugyan ebben az esetben is figyelmeztethet a játék hogy elavult a verzió, a gyakorlatban ez semmilyen problémát nem okozhat. Röviden összefogalva: ha kell frissíteni, akkor egy-két nap alatt, de max egy hét alatt befrissítem, ha ezt nem teszem meg, akkor az azt jelenti hogy csekkoltam, és nem szükséges a frissítés.

- Milyen gyorsan frissül be a mod egy-egy játékpatch vagy DLC megjelenés után?
- Ha minden rendben van, akkor egy-két nap. Ha nem, akkor ki tudja.

- Használhatom ezt a modot saját magyarítás készítéséhez?
- Nem. Ha szeretnéd, hogy gyorsabban haladjak, nézz ki valami eseménysort narratív kontentet, fordítsd le és küldd el nekem a fájlokat. Lektorálás után berakom a modba és téged feltüntetlek hozzájárulóként.

- Miért ilyen béna, magyartalan sok helyen a fordítás, szórend??
- Az, ahogy a játék összerakja a szövegeket, tooltipeket nem túlságosan kompatibilis a magyar nyelvvel, elsősorban a ragozás miatt. Ezen oknál fogva gyakran van hogy kényszermegoldást kell alkalmazni, hogy a játék megfelelően rakja ki a szavakat, mondatokat.

Many of you have asked me to share the homebrew Hungarian translation I use in my videos. At the moment, it’s less than half-finished, but I’m trying to make progress whenever I have the time and energy. That said, there’s a chance it will never be completely finished, so please be prepared for that.

During the translation process, the user interface takes priority, so most events and decisions haven’t been addressed yet. The exception is Hungary-specific content, which I try to move up in the queue.

FAQ

- Do I need DLCs to run the mod?
- No.

- Do I need to start a new game for the changes to take effect?
- No.

- Which mods is it compatible with?
- With anything, as long as the given mod doesn’t touch the text files. Graphical and mechanical mods shouldn’t cause any issues.

- When will the next version be released?
- Could be tomorrow, could be next Christmas — who knows.

-The game says it’s not compatible with the current version.
- Okay, this is a bit complicated. If a major patch is released, I usually update the translation within a day or two, so even if the new lines aren’t yet in Hungarian, at least it wont show up in your game in code langugae. If it’s just a smaller hotfix, most likely I don’t need to do anything. The game may still warn you that the mod is outdated, but in practice, this shouldn’t cause any problems. In short: if an update is needed, I’ll handle it within a few days (max a week). If I don’t, that means I checked and no update was necessary.
-How quickly does the mod update after a game patch or DLC release?
- If all goes well, within a day or two. If not, who knows.

- Can I use this mod to create my own Hungarian translation?
- No. But if you’d like me to make faster progress, pick an event chain or narrative content, translate it, and send me the files. After proofreading, I’ll include it in the mod and credit you as a contributor.

- I found a mistake, where can I report it?

- Why is the translation sometimes awkward, with strange word order?
- The way the game assembles text and tooltips isn’t very compatible with Hungarian grammar, especially due to conjugation. For that reason, I often have to use workaround solutions so that the game can display words and sentences properly.
