Why this exists
Firefights aren’t laser tag. Most rounds miss, but they still do work: they rattle you, throw off your aim, and make you think twice about peeking. Pinned Down brings that pressure to both players and AI, so fights breathe, stall, and surge instead of devolving into instant headshots.


Features
• Subtle visuals under fire
• Aim wobble and slower recovery while suppressed
• AI shares the same stress model
• Clean tuning in CBA. Plays nice with other mods

Setup
Start a mission \ Options \ Addon Options \ Mission or Server.
First test with CBA_A3 + PD only.

Compatibility
Use one mod for suppression and stances to avoid tug of war.
Load order: CBA \ other mods \ Pinned Down

Support

Props to Viper1Zero for keeping Arma’s flame bright. An old Reddit post missing Pinned Down pulled me back. The last five years were rough for my family with cancer, an active shooter, and a brain hemorrhage. I went quiet. I’m back to make this better than before, and I won’t delete it even if negatives equal favorites, so long as there is still interest. Thanks to the thousands of subs. I honestly didn’t expect 100.

Suppression-first: Under fire, AI shoot more and aim less precisely.
Accuracy lives in vanilla: Adjust precision/skill in your difficulty or mission.
Prefer gentler suppression? We may add small tuning, but the core loop stays.

I suspect something happens on the whitelisting functions stage. Will see and test when update rolls out.

I would try to see what causes the problem, if anyone wants to collaborate it will be much appreciated. Reforger right now is not the best platform for COOP.

Can confirm, remoteExec gets suspended on dedicated. Really sad because mod is superb

@TurkishSoap PD i guess is just not Dedi friendly. I'm moving on to Reforger I think.

Absolutely love this mod, I've been playing ArmA for over a decade and it's truly nice to have AI that is not completely brain dead.

However, not sure if this is just me, but this mod seems to be overriding CfgRemoteExec in some way as it is totally preventing a great number of functions from being executed when this mod is ran on a dedicated server. Am I missing something? Thank you
