Seal's Backstory Collection

v1.2.4 (18/09/2025) - 112 total backstories


This mod is a collection of various backstories all written by me. It adds 112 new ones. More will be written and added in future updates as time goes on.
The mod also adds new "Places" that will appear in the procedurally generated ideologies descriptions (3 for now).

The mod is compatible with Vanilla Traits Expanded and Vanilla Fishing Expanded. The traits from these mods will appear in some backstories.


Is the mod lore-friendly?
Yes. Everything fits the official lore, but bear in mind that I the mod reflects my personal headcanon. Everyone imagines the universe differently.

Can you add compatibility with X trait mod?
Maybe. I only added compatibility with Vanilla Traits Expanded because this is a mod I use. Adding new traits for all the already written backstories could be time consuming, so it would really depend on the amount of time I have.

I have written some backstories, can you include them in your mod?
I want to only keep stuff written by me in this mod. If you have some already written I suggest you make your own mod, don't hesitate to look at my defs and use them as a basis!
However you can absolutely tell me ideas for future updates!

Did you use a LLM?
Everything was written by me. There is no fun in worldbuilding with AI.
