@Ostrich-Hungry Awesome! Don't worry too much about overlaping, vanilla itself has a lot of it. I also discovered after writing some that an equivalent already existed in vanilla lol

Loved your mod! Excellent work, really well-written. I’ll keep it in mind for my own mod (just to avoid any overlap, though with backstories that’s hardly an issue).
I’ve been considering making a framework that would give us more control over backstory modding. I’ll let you know if I make any progress on that.
Once again, amazing mod. I’ll definitely be using it.

Also, if unsubscribing and resubscribing alone doesn't fix it, verifying game file integrity and clearing Steam's download cache tends to fix the issue real quick

@mr. Lucius there is no risk of opening a mod file if you don't change anything, and even if you do, unsubing and resubing from the mod would reset it

@Empty Azure I checked the XML and in game and it looks fine, my guess is that steam is being sassy and didn't update the mod on your side, I know it happens often. You can always force steam to do it by unsubbing and resubbing

I noticed Drug Maker was mentioned a few back.

It's broken for me and the nameDef, possessive, and pronoun brackets are showing instead of what should be there.

A bit late but here you go, three descriptions that you can copy-paste. I recommend you to go to the mod folder and open the XML files if you need the descriptions.

Pop singer:
[PAWN_nameDef] was a popular singer on [PAWN_possessive] homeworld. Everyone loved [PAWN_possessive] voice but where [PAWN_pronoun] excelled was in writing [PAWN_possessive] own music. Unfortunately, [PAWN_possessive] manager never noticed [PAWN_possessive] talent and only made [PAWN_objective] sing uninspired pop songs.

Orbital crane operator:
Working in an orbital shipyard, [PAWN_nameDef] maneuvered an orbital crane: a small spaceship designed to move heavy payloads. The job was monotonous, but [PAWN_pronoun] loved the tranquility of space, and gazed upon the view between [PAWN_possessive] shifts.

Beside, i found 2 bugs
The first one might be a misspelling,you use [Pawn_pronoun] instead of [PAWN_pronoun] in drug maker and tribal tinkerer .
The second one exists in peacekeeper ,game falis to resolve [PAWN_relative] and report an error

2 childhoods were added to the update with the fix.

Small error in description for Tribal "Sheperd". A typo: [PAWn_possessive] (lower case n), causes the mouse over description to throw an an error. I did change the mod file on my PC, and changing [PAWn_possessive] to [PAWN_possessive] did fix the mouse over error.

Also, since you did ask about language: "Sheperd" would be a name in English. "Shepherd" with the added h would be the job.

Neither fix is that important. I just noticed this while trying to locate a bug that is not yours.

@mr. Lucius Do you mean the titles or the whole descriptions of the backstories ? I can't really write all the descriptions because it would be too long to write/do. I tried to show some that are representative of the whole mod in the images above.
If you mean the titles of the backstories, then I can write them if you need it.

I would be very happy if you write all the backstories in the mod description so I can paste it into the translator (English is not my native language either). I want to know what I'm adding to my game.
