Mexican Companies and Prestige Goods

I've decided that Mexico (my home country) needed new companies, so I created this mod in my free time.

The companies I’ve added are (hopefully) balanced and inspired by real history —although the actual companies never reached the heights you’ll be able to achieve in-game.

Some of the logos are not historically accurate, as I couldn’t find references for them online. However, I tried to design them as closely and respectfully as possible.

Included Companies:

Fábrica de Hilados y Tejidos de Río Blanco – (original pg) Charro clothing

Compañía Minera Real del Monte – Gold mining

Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México – Railways and engines

La Cubana – (original pg) Chocolate

Fincas Cafetaleras de Chiapas – (original pg) Chiapaneco coffee

Fábrica Nacional de Armas – (original pg) Mondragón rifle

Tequilera Jose Cuervo – (original pg) Tequila

Fábricas de Papel de San Rafael y Anexas - Paper

Compañía Trasatlántica Mexicana - swift merchant marine

Compañía Mexicana de Luz y Fuerza Motriz - fine cabinet telephone

Casa Fernández Somellera y Stevens - high-end vehicle

Since I have added more companies, I have given Fábrica Nacional de Armas and Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México a +1 company bonus each. I justified this because they are not traditional companies but rather state-owned entities.

This mod supports both English and Spanish.

Hey, first I want to thank you for the mod, the ideas and special prestige goods are really fun flavor. I think your numbers are quite overtuned though. For example, some companies buff multiple throughputs in the double digits, I would reduce that to one and make the other buffs smaller. The state monopolies (arms company for example) giving another company is a nice touch, but sadly not present elsewhere in the game, so it allows for more OP buffs across the board for Mexico, a country which struggled quite a bit during the 19th century to find its footing. If you want to keep some very strong companies, lock them behind a more advanced tech, like the state arms company behind central planning, that makes them more of a way to cement your dominance, after you fought hard to acquire it. I would tune down all of the numbers a little, maybe check out the values the stronger vanilla companies have.

No quisiera hacer algo de "alt-history" pero voy a hacer un mod para mas "flavour" de México (tipo mi mod del porfiriato), tal vez haga que uno de sus hijos continué su legado
