Victoria 3 Timeline Mod
Alternate history start dates & economic fixes
Please note with eu5 coming out soon and 1.10 coming out, I decided these timeline mods won't be updated anymore as there is no need for these mods. My submod will still be updated that has a lot of the features this mod has. Thank you all for your support, I will try to make new Victoria 3 projects.

Overview
Lightweight mod featuring new historical start dates with simplified setup:
  • Designed for accessibility and compatibility
  • Modular integration: Popular ET features adapted for vanilla play, toggleable via custom game rules.
  • Smarter AI (no cheats): Improved autobuild logic and economic decisions without artificial bonuses.
  • Investment pool integration: Invest from your treasury into the investment pool — the AI uses it too.
  • Dynamic nations: Player and AI country creation that reduces bordergore and improves AI behavior, as they form puppet states from territories they don’t want to keep.
  • Dynamic personal unions: PU formation and behavior tuned for more organic outcomes.
  • Performance‑boosting rules: Optional merges for similar cultures and uncentralized (decentralized) nations to reduce simulation load.
  • Random character deaths: Leaders, generals, and other key figures can die unexpectedly.
  • Disease mechanic: Periodic outbreaks that affect population and economy.
  • Full translations: AI‑powered localization for all supported languages.
  • Performance‑first: Lightweight scripts tuned for long campaigns & mod‑heavy setups.
