Man vs Wild: Isekai Mod Events Add-on

Psst, you! Yes, you! Are you bored of whacking AI stacks for no apparent reward? Do you feel that the luster of being shiny and overpowered has worn off, so now you seek greater pains?

Say no more, buddy! This big boy can fit so much nonsense in one mod it’s like a freaking clown car!

Man vs Wild is an add-on for my Isekai Mod that provides a number of PvE storylines for the Outsider class, storylines akin to the Hades Monument or Inferno Invasions. These events usually trigger invasions from different factions and sow chaos all across Elysium, which is hardly good for you! However, there is the promise of a reward at the end of the road: each global crisis you solve will provide increasingly powerful rewards. Consider it a little campaign!

Currently, there are three storylines:

Pretender Duke

A high-ranking noble in Elysium has had enough of your nonsense! After one too many breaches of etiquette half of the nobility loyal to the Outsider have flipped the table and defected back to the Empire/Kingdom, taking all those high-ranking knight units the Outsider gets from the Princess and smashing them right back into your face.

Defeating the Duke in charge of the Rebellion will temporarily end his campaign, but beware, for any of his sons could take up the mantle instead! Unless you conquer his castle, but that’s easier said than done. While a rebel, he had quite the deep pockets to hire mercenaries with.

Evil Outsider

After having his way with the poor people of Elysium, the Outsider finally gets to experience what it’s like to be invaded this time around. Striding into Elysium through his own edgelord-coded red portal, the Evil Isekai Protagonist makes his harrowing entrance! Can you defeat your evil twin and his legion of sycophants, or will he end up stealing your crown while stroking his elongated goatee? Only you can decide!

Perhaps in another life you could have been friends, but now, it has to be this way.

Sunrise Invasion

The Outsider may be above anything Elysium has to throw at him, but can he survive the tide of other overpowered tropes? Test your might against the unreasonably large Sunrise Empire and its endless legions of mortal troops, as well as the Four Great Immortal Sects that rule over it. But be careful, for to defy an Immortal is to court death itself!

World Engines

Eh, nothing too big. Just three giant robots that show up to destroy the world if you take too long to get your stuff together.

Version 0.4:
-Added the Sunrise Invasion. Can you face the interminable legions of an Empire of Xianxia Immortals? Currently only the mortal troops and one of the four great sects have been added, but more additions are planned in the future. Be warned, I've experienced a crash before, so try to save often.


Compatibility:

The mod will use variable numbers 6900-6999 for all events. If these numbers are already occupied by another modder let me know and I’ll try something else.

Performance:

Performance is pretty good up to Enormous maps, might slow down in the deep late game though, especially if you’re playing against an overpowered AI class.
