Recently been playing this a ton again (Damn the addiction of enchanter/necromancer, damn them!) and ended up getting a lovely endgame where I marched upon the celestial realm after conquering most of the elysium planes, killed god (He nearly wiped my doomstack) then kinda sat there wondering what else to do. Here I was, having literally overthrown god in his own unique citadel, and to get there I'd already won the war for elysium.. Which feels wrong and weird. I've been working my way through all of the classes I found interesting and managed to get at least a moderate grasp on all of them, except Dryad Queen. As far as I can tell she's absolute garbage, but I must be doing something wrong. Her starting force seems unbelievably weak and frail so she has trouble grabbing land. Unlike the Druid she can't just ignore gold and iron and go all in on herbs because she needs those things to make her UNGODLY SLOW TRICKLE of freespawn into halfway decent units. She j...

I was playing as a necromancer against a Dryad Queen and obtained an item that allowed me to use “chop and burn.” Later, I ended up losing that item in a subsequent battle, and it simply vanished. I killed the minotaurs that stole it from me, but the item did not return to any of my units. What happened? Can an item disappear like this? I thought it would always drop as loot. I even moved a Wraith through the adjacent tiles to check if the item was on the ground, but I found nothing....

Can't seem to find the answer on here; it is a horrendous thing to be pitted against, phase spiders are easily one of the scariest units in the game. I swear I saw somewhere that it's a 25% chance to dodge per tile away you are (so 25-50-75-10), but I can't find that now. But even in melee they seem to dodge easily half the time....
