! Right now, The Fool Enchant is bugged cuz of Rep+, a fix for that and some other stuff should come eventually.

It's in the Cards! Discover the secrets of the Arcana with Joseph the Cartomancer!




Joseph is the master of the cards, and can enchant tarot cards onto himself to gain their effects permanantly, as long as he doesn't get hit! Whether you're starting a new save or already have dead god, you can enjoy Joseph and discover all 44 unique card enchantments!

Featuring:
  • A new unlockable character: Joseph!
  • An enchantment effect for every tarot card, 44+ effects in total!
  • 12+ Unlocks!
  • 10 colorful new Items.
  • 2 enthralling new Trinkets.
  • A new Tarot Card pulled from a mysterious parallel deck.

Wiki:
Joseph MOD has full documentation through External Item Descriptions in English Russian, Spanish, and Chinese, and through the Isaacguru Website[isaacguru.com], though if you want to enjoy the mod to the fullest, it's recommended to play without EID at first to have fun exploring each unique and individual card enchant! All enchants were created thoughtfully to be intuitive and quick to understand, but as always, feel free to play however you like!

@chaos helm For that you'll have to browse your local files for tboi, then click in data, joseph, and then delete the respective save.dat file.

I actually have a pretty cool idea for Tainted Joseph.

Joseph
"The Jester"
Has below average stats all around, but starts with Scrawl, Starter Deck, and Psychokinesis (new Q4 Active, infinite uses).
Cards shall bring blood...

Basically, instead of Enchanting cards to yourself or using them, any card you pick up can be consumed by Psychokinesis, and for that room, you will have an extra Ludovico tear alongside your regular tears that is automatically controlled towards different enemies (called a PsychoLudo tear), and has different effects depending on the card you consume, along with those effects stacking with multiple cards being used. Additionally, it isn't just Arcana, but ANY Vanilla cards (along with potentially Modded cards with cross-mod compatibility) that can be used for this.


This is just a quick idea, let me know how you may feel about this, okay?

Unlock Suggestion: in line with the other character's golden unlocks, an eventual Tainted Joseph unlock could be a Golden Card, which could shuffle into another card of its kind on a room clear.

Those memes/pics in the preview are honestly so heckin' cute, well done whoever that was!
Also, I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a unlock for Mega Satan yet, do you plan on doing something for that? I wouldn't mind if it's a Tainted-style new feature...as I don't think anyone would be interested in unlocking a Co-op Baby. :p

@Yourname942 At some point, yeah, I'd like to give Joseph a tainted form. What that will actually look like I'll won't say this time, but to immediately shoot down a common suggestion, No the Card based character's tainted version will not be Pill or Rune based .
