Animated Birrin

描述
"The Birrin are a sentient hexapod (six limbed) species from a planet approximately the size of Venus. This individual, gaudily attired, lives (and sometimes works) in the tropical regions of their world, bordering the uninhabitable superheated equatorial zone many birrin call the 'Kiln'. Low employment, high temperatures and generally harsh conditions mean that narcotic use is high among many of the population here."

Introducing the Birrin [abiogenesis.artstation.com], a species from the great work of Alex Ries.

Includes
  • Animated portraits with 5 color variations
  • A prescribed country, the Sijikarat Confederacy
  • Custom starter System: Chirrahshii System

This is a standalone expansion modified from the Extended Species mod

An amazing mod, however I do have a suggestion. The Birrin share their planet with a second, larger, but less intelligent species that are just referred to as the Giants. I tried to incorporate this with my Birrin civilisation by starting with the Syncretic Evolution origin. However I had to use a random portrait that felt out of place with the Birrin. What I'm getting at is that it would be nice if the Giants were added as a second portrait in the mod.

@Socialist_Bismarck Usually new portrait mods need stuff in the common folder (so, yes it affects checksum), the only exception is if they replace only gfx data from an existing portrait.

It is possible however to play with mods and earn achievements is just a single check in the .exe that is easily changed with a hex editor like HxD

Venus diameter: 12.104 km
Earth diameter: 12.756 km

@Ph00nix: Alex Ries is an artist who's done a lot of phenomenal "speculative evolution" style aliens. The Birrin are a very well developed project of his, with a lot of art from their homeworld at various stages of their history (viewable on DeviantArt, ArtStation, his website, etc.). He also did some concept art for Subnautica: Below Zero.
