Getting tired of looking at the same boring species portraits over and over again? Looking to step into the skin of new and unique beings with which to take begin your conquest to a galactic empire? This mod doesn’t just add a few, but actually nearly 100 new species portraits to Stellaris for you to choose from when beginning your game. Not only that, there are two new empires with their own built-in traits and backstories to begin with and opportunities for these portraits to show up as pops and leaders in your regular games.

Thankyou for giving me context. At least I know you didn't do that on purpose and you got credit for at least one of the artists.

@Oatmeal God "I do not know the names of most of these artists" that's the issue I have too.

The mod was created by Thursasprengir, but they didn't credit the artists so I don't really have a way to track them down. Alex Riese has explicitly given me permission to use their art in a non-monetized form, but the other artists are very difficult to track down

The majority if not all of the added species are from various talanted worldbuilders and I find it upsetting that non of them are getting credit. The person who this guy is crediting did not create the majority of these drawings. The ones that aren't animated are quite literally just cropped images from actual spec evo worldbuilding projects like the Birrin project. I do not know the names of most of these artists but I have seen their works before long before this mod was even released. The one I do recognize is Alex Riese who created the Birrin project of which the image is stolen from. In fact I recognize a few other ones from this guy in this mod.

Animated mods usually have to modify the Common folder so that does affect achievements
