WCW: Now or Never

It's April 2001;
World Championship Wrestling [WCW] and Extreme Championship Wrestling [ECW] have not been bought out by the powerhouse that is the World Wrestling Federation, however;

WCW has lost 25 members of its roster, including a lot of their young up-and-comers moving over to WWF's developmental promotion, OVW. Ted Turner still holds the contracts of the big names on wages too high even for the WWF to gamble on.

These names include: Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Sting, Ric Flair, Lex Luger, Jeff Jarrett and Bret Hart (injured with concussion until 2006).

To make matters worse these contracts are iron-clad, and Kevin Nash has creative control over his own booking. Oh, and many of these stars have already signed contracts with your biggest rival when their current deals run out. TNT network deals have also expired.

So how do you book the revival of WCW when backstage morale is in tatters?

Do you use the top talents you have now to try and build the brand back up as quickly as possible, or do you invest in youth along the mid-card scene knowing they will be much cheaper in the long run?

***Hardcore Mode***: You are not allowed to release any of the remaining roster until their contracts expire. This adds an additional layer of challenge to the game.

Additional Notes:
ECW still exists but is a bankrupt mess with very few household names remaining.

I have plenty of tips for playing this, but I don't want to put them here because I imagine most people will want the challenge of going into this blind.
