Tips and Tricks
Straight away, do these first three options before your first show.

First priority: Get Outgoings as low as possible!
This means reducing production values wherever possible. At this point, there’s no point churning out 80+% shows if only 5,000 people are attending and it’s driving you into further debt. Likewise, it won’t increase your popularity at this stage so get rid of it.
Immediately cutting the office size down to a small office is an instant $500,000 saving.

Second: Get new TV deals as soon as the old TNT deals lapse (1st April). Make sure your PPV’s are on a PPV format paying per customer. This will instantly net you $1,000,000 a month for each PPV – a huge help towards balancing the books.

Third: Cut show lengths. I’ve opted for Nitro (2 hours) and Thunder (1 ½ Hours). This means you’re not double booking or having to hire outside workers.

Fourth: WCW fans favour entertainment over wrestling skill. This is to your advantage as it means you can fill longer shows like Nitro with multiple angles for the same story lines, rather than constantly booking 8 – 12 matches per a show. This will stop superstars from fatiguing as quickly, as well as maximising show ratings.

Fifth: Plan ahead. Look through the contracts and sort by date expiring. This will allow you to see when big pockets of cash will be freed up on the balance sheets. You are going to go into debt, but if you can see that next week, you will be $250,000 better off, you’ll know exactly when you’ll start turning a profit.

Sixth: Boost morale wherever possible. This may mean shoehorning matches in to meet promises, or promoting someone you didn’t want to, but it all helps. Likewise, you can also look to hire workers who already have strong attachments to those already signed.

Seventh: When you do start to build that profit, start to bring in younger talent and get them involved as soon as. Even if they are jobbing for mid-carders, it will give them experience, build their skills and they will be on much cheaper contracts.

If there’s anything missing, please feel free to add in the comments below. This will greatly help others enjoy the challenge if they are struggling.

I wish I had hints to add to this that didn't feel very much like exploits.

@aaaawren I completely agree, but I find it to be slightly 'cheating' as you never really need to pay them if they never appear on the show.

Hiring staff on per appearance deals adds very little to your Outgoings but does a *lot* for the backstage morale.
