Do you know that feeling when you stumble upon a game that you just give a shot to and then after a multiple hour session you realise, that you have just opened a gate to infinite addiction?
Yup thats what I got from this immediately.
I have been a TEW enjoyer for a long time but I always feel like I need to plan everything into such detail that it doesnt leave space for the thing I love most about wrestling. And that is telling stories and creating fantasy storylines.
PWS is a more enjoyable wrestling simulator, where you can get into easily and have a time of your life.
The mods are what really make this pop. Recreating or rebooking certain time periods or storylines is exactly what this type of games are made for. Personally I love rebooking TNA or WCW and trying to beat WWE. That underdog story is just lovely to play.
I would love to see more mods in the future but that ofc depends on the community.

Pro Wrestling Sim is a game that feels like it was made just for me. This is a management, text-based game where you take control of a Wrestling Promotion and manage such things like signing talent, be that wrestlers, staff, announcers, or personalities, the drug policy of the promotion, titles, teams, stables, storylines, network deals, and events. Be that weekly, monthly, annual, or tours, the events is where you schedule matches, the match type, who is on commentary, even the winner and what titles are up for grabs. You can set up a variety of angles, such as Attacks, Promos, Talking, and more. You can even add your own details to matches and angles. All while managing your workers moral, momentum, your promotions cash flow, production quality, and fans. One tip is that workers stats and your own fanbase grows in points, like 0.2 or 0.7, so the game is built for a marathon style play. Your rookies won't suddenly become experts over night.

The game comes with a built in editor and you can change nearly everything. Want to give yourself more money, up a workers stats, create your own match types and angles and maybe even add your own workers? All possible with the in-game editor but made even easier with the SQLiteStudio software. There are a chunk of mods, such as Modern Day ones, Classic Era ones, fictional and what if ones and they can all be merged together.

You will not like this game if you are looking for a graphic showcase like WWE2k or you aren't into text-only gameplay. There is AI usage in the game, but it's used for Worker pictures and has an entirely optional AI Assistant that can help you plan stories, keep up with your roster, and be excited for you. The AI Assistant's interactions are saved per save file so it's not recording them across your entire playtime.

As a fan of management games, imaginative fill-in-the-gaps-yourself storytelling and wrestling, this game is an extremely addictive and fun time.
