The Armol: People of the Core

描述
The Armol are isolationists who remained hidden deep underground for over thousands of years.

Little is known about these primitive aliens, other than that they look like a cross between an armadillo, and a star-nosed mole.

It was only until recently, due to the actions of a corrupt mining company, that the Armol would be disturbed from their hiding.

Now vibrations can be felt deep within the planet's core!

Perhaps you will be the first to uncover the mysteries behind the Armol people.

Credits go to: DrPvtSkittles' Guide to Making your Own Race, and the Starbound Wiki,
for all the useful modding information.

this dude really thought they were pucking their lips, lmfao.

The Armol are based off of Star-Nosed Moles, those "Lips" are actually the fleshy tendrils of their noses.

why are they puckering their lips, extremely weird.

They are called "The people of the core", right? So do they use the Core fragments in a special way? A specialised racial crafting maybe? Not the vanilla or FU stuff. That would be awesome, because the more crafting, the merrier. At least applies to me.

i recommend you specify in the description weather you object to SxB related addons, if one does not want such content based on your mod its best to say so.

Ah, that'd probably be it then. I have noticed that, while the core biomes themselves aren't searchable, they do appear on the list of biomes when a planet is found via other criteria.

@AgentKirin But have you noticed that Obsidian, Magmastone, Blaststone, and even FU's core biomes are absent from PS?

I feel these issues are probably inherent to how core biomes are formatted differently from other biomes in terrestrial worlds.

They do have friendlynames, and I did not add anything to hide them.

If someone else wants to make their own mod that fixes these issues, and allows the Armol Biomes to be detectable, then they have my blessing to post it.

But I am afraid biome detection is outside of my realm of expertise.

Was about to poke PS when I found this guide in the description: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/3269792617/4425436717327146522/

That being said, it looks like if you don't give the biome a display name or straight-up tell PS to ignore it, it'll show up, but under its internal name. Could that be why I can't find it?

The same can also be said for MPI. Someone else is gonna have to make the patch, cause I don't know the first thing about how that kind of stuff works.

@AgentKirin That's a bit outside of my area of knowledge.

You'd probably have to ask the people behind Planet Search about including core biomes.
