As I also said, it lines up with the behavioral patterns of Footsub as compared to typical unimaginative and predictable troll behavior.
For example, if I am the last to have posted, I would rather copy it, and edit than leave posts back-to-back (or typos). I believe this is available to everyone. I have deleted post that wasn't mine - that was on one of my PZ mods - and entirely accidental. Sometimes there is a delay between hitting the trashcan icon, and the post actually being removed, and I thought I had missed the button (the post in question was benign)
"Hu hu, evil butthurt modder deletes comments!" \*deletes own comment*
"See?! Butthurt modder deleting comments, can't take the heat! Hu hu hu!"
Of course, as far as I'm concerned that's a perfectly valid reason for deleting a comment - despite what trolls and shitposters love to insist, you have no obligation to leave up every pile of dung people lay down in your comments.
Although I'm also more inclined to believe the modder who's been rather chill about the whole thing over the overt troll whose entire tenure here has been aggressive hostility and shit-stirring.
