Fish Traps

描述
Add-on for Vanilla Fishing Expanded to catch - guess what - fish over time.

Description
  • Adds two neolithic researches.
  • New building "Fish trap": generates small fish over time, required to be put on water.
  • New building "Fish net": generates small or medium fish, required to be placed on water
  • Buildings need maintenance, which is represented as random damage during the day.
  • After spawning fish, building also receives some damage.
Mod should be ok to add during gameplay. Remove from game at your own risk!

NOTE: This is a beta version of mod, some value may be tweaked in the future.

Requirements
Rimworld <= 1.5 - VFE
Rimworld >= 1.6 - VFE or Odyssey DLC

Bug report
Please include to your bug report logs from the game. Without that, I can't do anything.

I would like an Odyssey patch, where it's folded into the Fishing research. Having dedicated research tabs for one or two research projects clutters the research tab immensely in any real modpack.

Do you have "Minify Everything" or a similar mod? Otherwise you should NOT be able to uninstall fishing traps nor nets.

okay, there's a bug with the fish nets, I dunno what its caused by, but if you uninstall the nets and leave it in storage the resource timer will build up and when placing it back into the water it rapidly catches fish until it either breaks or the timer catches up. I do have Odyssey btw.

@Thranos Yup, had that same feeling during testing. I guess I will add slider to set traps efficiency for odyssey.

The amount of fish that the traps give Odyssey seems... anemic.
Is there something I'm not taking into consideration, like better nutrition per fish, or some usage of the fish scarcity mechanic?
